This rings true to almost all ARMY I've come across. If you ask an ARMY how they found BTS and how they became ARMY, you'd end up bawling your eyes out. I remember there was a reactor who asked this, and the comment section of their video was full of ARMY stories and I cried so much that day, but at the same time found profound pride to stanning BTS. They truly deserve all good things in life. 💜

62 Y/O next week, grandma from USA and I found them about 9 months ago. After work, I get nothing else done because I spend all my time on KZbin learning about and getting to know these amazing young men and the messages they share with youth. I hadn't purchased an actual CD in over 10 years but then FACE came out. There was no way I was just going to do a download when I knew there was a hidden track on it. Now I own 3 more albums. By the way, THANK YOU, Jimin and BTS, for giving us this new video live of LETTER today!! That you would think of us (Army) in such a tender and profound way shows that our love for you is never taken for granted. HAPPY FESTA BTS & ARMY!! Also, Emerald, I found you because of your reaction to Angel Part 2 and was reminded of my first MV of BTS. BTS finds you when you need them. I 100% believe that. I found them during the pandemic right when everything was shutting down- I was laid off my job and I was depressed. They made me smile and laugh and feel better. Tae wrote the song Blue and Grey during the pandemic (on their BE album) and I don’t know how he did it but he made me feel so seen- and described how I was feeling at the time. But they have some songs that are so comforting and they wrote for ARMY like Magic Shop and Zero O’Clock. I would fully suggest watching Magic Shop live! What made me love them was how humble they are and how much they love each other and ARMY. What other artist write multiple songs for their fans?? Welcome to the ARMY and falling down the rabbit hole! :)

Welcome Emerald. BTS found me in 2022 and like many others, during a time of great personal change. I'm 67 years young and like yourself, wondered why I never heard of them. Their music, the lyrics that seem to mirror my own feelings and thoughts, the incredible dancing, their individual and group history of hard work and facing hardships spoke right to my heart. ARMY is gift and godsend not only for BTS members but to each other. I thank ARMY's of all ages, races, countries, etc...who are so supportive. BTS members are on this planet to bring people together, to help us all evolve as ONE. They have taught us all to love ourselves and when we do this one thing, we can and do create a better world. Welcome Emerald to this amazing journey together with millions of others around the world. YOU got here just in time. LOVE to ALL ARMY's!

I think a lot of us have the same story. BTS came into our lives and helped us overcome/deal with our depression and personal struggles. I don't know how they do it, but they are literal sources of light in this world. There is nobody like BTS, and there will never be. We always say, stan a group that stans you back. There have been times in the past when BTS and ARMY only had each other in the face of overwhelming hatred. It created an iron-clad bond that will never be broken. For what it's worth, I cry every time I watch this video, too. Welcome to ARMY. Borahae!

I am 70. Follower of BTS since 2016. Welcome to ARMY. The members are good people. Coldplay's collaboration on 'My Universe' and then their collaboration with Jin where he sang good bye to ARMY are iconic. Don't watch The Astronaut live in Argentina without the Chris Martin intro. A lot of symbolism in the MV, but that's what BTS does. 💜

I LOVED your reaction to Taylor's guide!!! I've watched so many reactors watching this guide, and your reaction touched my heart. When the boys got strung by the Grammys from the beginning till the end, then cut their performance shorter, then they didn't win. BTS did a Vlive and their viewership was greater than the Grammys!!! When you watch My Universe with BTS and Coldplay, make sure you watch the behind the scenes where Chris Martin explains how their collab comes together. Then when you watch The Astronaut by Jin, watch where he sings it with Coldplay and that behind the scenes. I hope your bias is Jimin, cause he is mine. He was the first one who caught my eye and I love his dancing and singing, and he is such a sweet guy, with a mischievous side! It might be V, or maybe Suga. Enjoy your dive into the BTS rabbit hole. Also, BTS has so many songs dedicated to and are written for ARMY. Jimin's hidden tract Letter, JKs Magic Shop, We are Bulletproof the Eternal, and more💜💜💜💜💜💜💜

I'm only 3 minutes into this video, and already I'm crying. As another person who discovered them while in depression, they are my lifeline They make me MOVE when all I want to do is burrow under my covers. They make me not care who's watching me 'dance", their songs lift me up... In energy, in spirit, in self-esteem, in self-care and general give-a-shit about life. Their music, lyrics, videos, personalities, wisdom, humor, and love/care for ARMYs is nourishment for my soul from God. I think it's wonderful that you watched their Run BTS show episodes to see them as people. One of the holiday greeting message videos really grabbed my heart: Yoongi was telling us (me) that we could be happy in this coming year, and that he wanted us to be. "YOONGI wants me to be happy" ended up becoming a mantra of sorts that carried me through so much and made me decide to take care of myself at least as much as I did my children. The simple smiles on their faces makes me smile, and inspires me to smile at others, and get through rough days. Millions of us have found hope again through BTS.I hope you find that for yourself as well💜💜💜💜💜💜💜 *Edit: The Scammys issue goes so far beyond "they didn't win", that I don't even want to get started on it. If my artist is placed in the proper category and faces impressive, equal quality competition, then I can be disappointed my artist didn't win, without anger. That's not what ARMY is taking issue with. There can even be disagreement with the subjective opinions of judges and others over the quality of the competition, and again, this isn't the issue ARMY has with the Scammy award show. The issues lies in repeatedly, year after year, after year, exploiting BTS for clout and viewership, and to egregiously abuse ARMY attention, while consistently being racist, expecting the "phenomenon", the "sensation", the flash -in-the-pan fad they dismiss BTS as, to disappear back to Korea and stop competing with Western artists. There are SEVERAL very good videos by Boracity Magazine channel that analyze and articulate the battle between BTS and Western music industry, that i highly suggest you watch (react if you want, but at least watch for yourself). Make sure you take any blood pressure meds first(i wish i was joking). I want to clarify that I'm not jumping on a bandwagon steered by a content creator, but instead have had my own opinions articulated, and validated by data from multiple sources, and Boracity does a good job laying all that info out into a concise, cohesive presentation. I will NEVER watch those awards again, and have zero respect for them. They need us more than we need them to validate BTS as a talented, world-shifting, motivating, innovative music group. They had their opportunity to see/hear BTS' artistry, and didn't recognize it because they weren't paid to, and any future Scammy award given to BTS will only be to pander to ARMY since I no longer believe in the authenticity of the award or the integrity of the judges. I will give my support directly to my artist. Sorry I went long, but I've barely begun. I'm a mature woman, and not overly caught up in awards or whether my artist wins, so please believe when i say it goes so far beyond that and ARMY are unfairly dismissed as over-reacting poor losers. LOVED watching your reaction💜 Welcome, ARMY!! There is so much for you to discover and learn! Looking forward to watching your journey!

I have been an army for 8 years and it is the most beautiful thing I have, they teach you to love, but to love in such a pure, genuine way, you feel loved and when you meet them you realize that this love cannot be truer, BTS is the healthiest relationship I have, the prettiest, most of all, they have affective responsibility and such a genuine human affection that sometimes I forget what are celebrities and you start to see them as your best friends even if "they don't know you" they will always love you and help you when you least expect it, BTS has been a part of my life since 2016 when I was in a horrible state of mind, I had no joy or enjoyment at all, I was going to give upand then I met them and they gave me hope, dreams, reality, they taught me that life is hard but it is also love and struggles, they taught me to love myself and love the differences that seemed to keep us apart.

That moment you realise just how special these 7 men are. I count myself as so lucky to have been ARMY since the very beginning. I found them when I stumbled on their KZbin vlogs before debut. I was already into Kpop and was just looking for “something”. And there they were. Over the years they have helped me through some incredibly hard times, gave me hope when I felt I had none, showed me how to love myself even with all my faults. I would go to the ends of the earth to protect these boys. In ARMY I have found a second family, people who accept me, understand me and support me though we have never met. They say we find BTS when we need them and it sounds like this is your time. Always know that in showing love and respect to the boys, you will be taken into the family of ARMY who will be there for you without judgement. I hope you continue discovering these amazing talents. Another 53 year old ARMY here! I have been ARMY since 2016. And let me tell you, you are now part of the BTS family! By all means, you need someone to listen on a bad day...please look us up. Don't think you just have to do BTS reactions. We, ARMY and BTS are each others strength to keep going when things get rough! We Purple You girl! What a beautiful heart you have and we are so proud you are now a part of US.

The horrid things they've had to endure is so heartbreaking and infuriating. When V's beloved grandmother passed away, antis accused him of seeking sympathy and started tweeting horrible things at him -- like pictures of open graves and death threats. XCeleste has done some videos about only some of what they've gone through. Much of which happened before they "got big" and were "nobodies" just getting sh*t on.

They even performed in the dark for their fans. A concert schedule got messed up (does any Army know the details?) but the concert venue shut down after all the other artists performed. BTS was somehow cut from the concert. But Army was in the audience so BTS went out and did their show without stage lights, fanfare and more than half the audience already gone since the other artists were finished. There's no film of it since the concert cameras were already turned off. But i think there's pictures of it floating around somewhere.

I believe the promoters cancelled BTSs performance just a couple hours ahead of time despite army waiting all day and despite BtS ready and willing to perform despite RM not being available. But they still went and performed after it was over just for army. No stage lights. No cameras rolling. Just for army

I'm ARMY of less than two years. I can't imagine the emotional rollercoaster a fan from 2013 must have gone through. This video is a good summary, but they barely touched on the struggles the band has gone through. No mention of Suga's injury, J-Hope nearly quitting, or the infamous dumpling incident (though they mentioned the song Friends [58:46], which came about from it). I've seen other reactors react to this video, but I held off watching it. When I found your channel and saw your honest, sincere, sometimes hilarious reactions, I knew who I wanted to watch it with. I made notes with time codes and everything, though I'm already long winded, so I probably won't mention all of them. (Surprisingly, with how lengthy it is, I left out over half my notes! 😳) The song in the background (7:48) is Euphoria, which is also played during Jungkook's section. It's a favorite (have to try to hit the high note - fail every time! Lol!) in addition to Ego (32:39 - it's playing in the background, but not labeled), Moon (36:43) and Filter (58:18 - watch the Live version, like what they showed in the clip. 🔥). (9:20) I'm no expert, but your pronunciation of BTS seemed spot on to me. (12:20) Lol! You described Latin Pop perfectly, in this case, as you'll see when you watch the video. Airplane (pt1) was a solo from J-Hope. He does part of that song in Airplane Pt2, when he does his part, dancing on the bar. (21:18) Very wise words. 💜 It doesn't usually take much to just be respectful to others. (28:08) I'm sorry to hear you've struggled, but am definitely happy to hear there's been a breakthrough. 💜💜💜 BTS's messages of hope, love, and positivity have been literal lifesavers for some. My life has not been the same since I found them. (40:26) Jin literally asked us to not make Super Tuna a viral sensation.... 😂 we did not listen! (1:07:15) I think their love for ARMY and the lengths they go to show it is one of the main reasons people tend to stick with them when we find them. (1:15:08) Jin joined the military back in December. J-Hope joined mid-April. I believe RM will be next. Because of his shoulder injury, I believe Suga was either exempted or will serve in an alternate way. If other ARMYs have managed to slog through my soliloquy, they might have a better idea of what Suga will do. A pure guess as to who your Bias is would be RM. My only reason for choosing him was that you said you tried to underplay your reaction and it seemed that way with RM.

Whenever I get this feeling that I'm nothing and unloved, I put on my playlist with all the songs BTS wrote for ARMY. It's a healing, crying session tbh. You will never find another group who loves their fans, as much as BTS loves ARMY. On ARMY's Birthday last year, if you search BTS in google, you'd see a purple heart shaped ballon on the page. When you click on it, purple balloons will fly up that you can pop just for fun as one of their gifts to us. If you pop on a balloon with a mic inside, you'll hear the boys saying I Purple You to Army. It's still up there and has not been removed. I still pop the balloons to this day when I'm bored at work haha. Jungkook would also go live in the wee hours of the morning whenever he misses Army. He would do karaoke sessions, taking in song requests, or you'd find him cooking, eating, having wine or beer and just chilling with us. When they announced their break (because of the military enlistment), Army initially thought that they are disbanding. Taehyung wrote us a letter, Namjoon also posted a letter of assurance and Jungkook went live to comfort us and assured Army that they are not disbanding. He sang for us, he did his dishes and just spent time with Army. They truly care and love us. Watch their vlive compilations or better yet, react to it. We won't get tired, promise. Hahaha!

I think the best way to describe BTS is to call them an unstoppable force of love that breaks down all your barriers without mercy and helps you rebuilding them yourself in a way that doesn't block love anymore but instead spreads it through the world so others can feel that love, too.

when you said your bias changed due to RUN BTS I guessed Jin at first but after watching the video I guess it's either Suga or Jungkook which means you really need to get on Weverse because you don't want to miss JK's random 2+ hrs karaoke or cooking live streams ;) Ps: I'm so glad that bts managed to bring some joy and laughter into your life again!

In an industry where most things are superficial and most artists can’t see beyond the $ sign, BTS stands out. The relationship they have with ARMY is unlike any other I’ve ever seen between an artist and their fanbase. Despite how huge they are globally, they remain the most humble, down to earth, appreciative celebrities I have ever seen. They love and appreciate ARMY so much. As you pointed out, Jungkook got ARMY tattooed on his hand. Jin traveled for nearly 40 hours to perform a 5-minute song for ARMY at a live Coldplay concert in Argentina before he enlisted just so that he could say “goodbye for now/I love you” to ARMY. They’ve written several songs specifically dedicated to ARMY to show their love and appreciation. And even though all of them are so busy, they still take the time to go live to chat with ARMY to keep us updated and just to see how we are. Jin actually recorded a series of video messages to be played for ARMY each month while he’s away. I mean seriously...who does that type of thing nowadays??? Honestly, you couldn’t have picked a better group to become a fan of. They are just really REALLY good human beings. Loved your reaction and hope you’ll continue your BTS journey, whether you decide to share it with us or not. I just subscribed just because you seem so genuine and like such a good human being too. As our precious Jimin says, “You nice, keep going!”

They are truly precious and deserve ALL of the praise they get. Not only have they changed my life with just who they are, what they stand for, their incredible talent, but being an ARMY, I now have BTS and all the other ARMY as my extended family, and I love them all! It's such an amazing, wonderful feeling. You truly feel loved by everyone. We are here to support each other. To cheer each other on. To pray for those that need it. Welcome to the ARMY!

I am a single mom of 5 kids and discovered BTS in August of 2019. In the span of 2 years before that I had lost my mom and my kids father (who mentally abused me) left me. My home was broken up. Not only that but since I was a stay at home mom I had no income so he took the kids. I was basically a bomb ready to blow. I sought therapy but it didn't help since I have suffered from anxiety n depression for 20 yrs and the problems were not getting better. I didn't have any friends since all the people I knew were his friends. I was basically a robot going with the flow pretending to be ok. Then I saw BTS "Boy With Love" n J-Hopes "Chicken Noodle Soup" and declared myself as ARMY on August 14 of 2019. I have never been happier. Now my youngest daughter n I bond over BTS. I am still trying to progress financially due to family issues but I am more positive about myself n all things in my life. Plus my family got hella big with ARMY.

One thing I really, REALLY love about how Big Hit Entertainment (BTS’s label) operates is that it was founded as a place to foster artists. The original CEO, Bang Shihyuk, used to be involved with the creative team at JYP, one of the Big 3 of the Korean music industry. Until BTS’s astronomical success, they really were just a small, indie label. Bang PD-nim’s vision and goal was to spend the time, money, & energy focusing on one group at a time, and encouraging them to write & produce songs, learn instruments, etc. It’s why, even after nearly 20 years, they only have two groups (BTS & TXT) and a handful of solo artists. As long as you are willing to put in the work to grow, they will support you. Unlike other companies, Big Hit doesn’t have required practice hours or dating bans - you will not be forced into the dance or music studios for hours on end. But that kind of time IS necessary to see the kind of success BTS have. If you half-ass your training and the label doesn’t think you’re ready, you just won’t debut. They also don’t charge trainees for their training. It is bundled into their R&D (Research & development) department budget. Being a Big Hit artist or trainee is like being at permanent song camp lol

Your journey mirrors my best friend's to a crazy degree! I was ARMY for a year and a half before she went to a theater with me to watch their concert from Seoul. Jimin in the rain being all hot flipped a switch, and down the rabbit hole she went. They pulled her out of a depression, they have her excited about life again. I never thought I'd be into Kpop and now I'm obsessed. Now I listen to mostly Kpop because now I can't listen to what we have on top of the charts and radio without thinking Kpop sounds so much better and their concerts are so much better then even a Super Bowl half-time. You can tell they put everything into their music and performance, and they actually care about fans, unlike many Western artists. My top groups are BTS and Ateez, and then Stray Kids, BlackPink, IVE, and TXT. It's a rabbit hole, but one, I'm so glad i fell in.❤

I’m so glad BTS has found you & has helped brighten your life a little bit. As for the Grammys, I’m actually not very familiar with any of the winning songs but what gets me is how can a one time collaboration- not an actual duo - beat a group who’ve been making music together for 7-10 years. I wish they would make a separate category so that it is more fair. You nice, keep going. Borahae 💜

I've been a fan since I was 13-14 years old and I turn 20 in January! I basically grew up with these adorable dorks and it's been the best journey ever for me, even when I stopped being so heavily invested for a while in 2019-20 I ended up getting pulled right back in when my dad died. "Stay Gold" was the first song that popped up in my recommended when I got the news and gosh is that song freaking beautiful, it was on loop for maybe 3 days straight and I promised myself that my first tattoo will be dedicated to Stay Gold just for that very reason. As long as I've been here I've never been to a concert and that's the only thing I kind of regret in life because now I don't think I'll ever get the chance and thinking about that hurts like hell I love all 7 of my boys but I am Jimin and Jungkook biased. I find comfort from both of them in different ways and I really love their stage chemistry, their chemistry overall honestly. Jimin and Jungkook's subunit name is jikook but technically they've claimed it to be mingukkie when they were on a live with Tae lol. Despite the things I've seen being said about their bond, I think they have an amazing friendship and they're really close, it's so cute hahaha like they are my babies for real

BTS and ARMY find you when you need them the MOST... 4/19/22 was when I became ARMY... was when I was saved. At the start of the month I was not planning to see my next birthday. I had been dealing with depression all my life and April 2022 was when I just couldn't take it anymore. 2013 I heard and watched a couple BTS MVs', but wasn't hooked, a watched and listened to "FIRE", wasn't hooked... 2020, nothing when I heard "DYNAMITE" then "BUTTER"... nothing. 4/19/22 I listen to and watched the mv for "SAVE ME" and was hooked. Learned their faces and names within 24 hrs and binged them for a full week. It was ARMT that caught my attention and drew me in... it was BTS 💜ARMY that saved my life and I love them all for that. I don't have a bias for BTS, they are all amazing and our sweet angels. My depression and anxiety are still a thing, but for the past year I have been trying to love myself and even though it is such a struggle at times, all I have to do it listen to or watch some BTS content for a while and I feel so much better. Now I'm introducing myself to other KPOP groups like BTSs' baby brother group TXT and Enhypen as well as a few others, but BTS is always going to be my number one. Proud ARMY here. Welcome to the ARMY... BORAHAE

BTS really deserves everything... they really gave back a lot to the society.. during the pandemic, their tour got cancelled, but they donated $1 million to Live Nation's Crew Nation campaign to support live music personnel during the COVID-19 pandemic and did it again in 2021... and the most recent thing was Jungkook donating KRW1 billion to a children's hospital in Seoul coz their govt cut the funding to the hospital.. jungkook's donation almost match the govt's budget for the hospital for that year... the boys not only try to spread positivity to everyone, but they really actively try to help other ppl in need... so this is the reason that i get really mad when ppl just hate on them for no reason.. there are ppl like that, you know.. i get it if you don't like their music, coz ppl have different taste.. but hating them for no reason? these ppl have mental issues

One thing i also love about bts is how vulnerable and honest they are with us. Of course they have their private lives and don’t share EVERYTHING with us - which ARMY respects & we’re very fierce about protecting their privacy. But when they can be, and when they want to be, they are very open with us. They don’t sugarcoat their struggles or insecurities and it’s been so refreshing and reassuring to see. They reassert their humanity and their humility time and time again in the face of their massive fame, and it’s so relatable. They really let you know it is okay to not be okay sometimes, that they are human and go through it too. ARMY feels very close to BTS and from all appearances, I think BTS also feels close to us. People can call it parasocial all they want, I do feel that the BTS-ARMY relationship is a real one and one full of genuine heartfelt feelings, even though it is limited by nature of a celeb-fan dynamic.
