Members say he comes off as cold because that how he is and not because he is quite, he act like he doesn't care (Tsundere style). Actually, his friends metioned how talkative he is and during Wolf's promotions, Baekhyun chossed Xiumin like the 4th member more naughy/mischivievous, Exo-M chossed him like the most funny member, he was close with some members and others idols pre debut. Chanyeol spoke specifically about the concert since Xiumin doesn't tend to talk much in group activities but the idol Xiumin is one thing and the person Minseok is other. I'm pointing this out because the purpose of this videos it's get to know better an idol and even if "his looks may not seem like it", like Xiumin said it's ridiculous to judge people by appearances, not because he looks cute and youthful, it means that anything that doesn't fit with that idea isn't true or we have to find a way to make it fit.

He is not main vocalist because high note doesn't necessarily mean you are good vocalist, range (high and low) agility, stability etc matters , yes , EXO's lead vocals are better than most of main vocal in different groups but EXO's main 3 vocals are standard tbh.Xiumin is a good vocalist, but his high notes aren't that consistent and stable like other 3 .
