Hi guys! Love your reactions! There is so much going on in this video that you need to watch it several times just to see what each guy is doing! Their mashups are so good. They're able to make them so seamless that it sounds like it's just one song instead of many! They were even singing 3 songs at the same time at times! Incredible! So the "chicken" is a running joke from some of their older videos. Chris Rupp (who left the group in May 2016) used to hide the chicken somewhere in all the videos and we'd have to find it. This one was obvious but some were very hard to find. Other songs you need to add to your reaction list from Home Free are their new ones "In the Blood" and "Castle on the Hill".

Welcome back! It's been a long time, and I really missed you two. That's Rob in the middle, and yes...he is married and has a little girl, so you had that part down pat. The same goes with Adam, the beat boxer. He's also married and has a little girl. Tim just got married last December. He and his wife are showcased in their video called Die A Happy Man". I know how much you love Tim so I wanted to suggest you watch their newest release of John Mayer's "In The Blood", it's so chilling. Funny you should say that about Rob. You probably know by now, that he IS a "normal father, with a child." In fact, he and Kelsey now have two children...a little girl, and the baby boy who is only about three months old, now (he was born at the end of May 2018). You mentioned Austin's different singing styles, and how he's so good at changing. You should listen to this one (or others that have been taken over the years when they used to do this one in concert). He was classically trained, and did a lot of musical theatre, before coming into Home Free (after the found him singing on a cruise ship). I think you will totally love this: "Bring Him Home" (from Les Misérables) kzbin.info/www/bejne/nXyXfH6neJdsY9E (I believe they used to put this in right after Adam's drum solo, so that he could cool down, which is why you don't see Adam in the mix.) Actually, I thought you did a pretty good definition of the difference between a medley and a mashup (though the terms are generally used as the same thing...medley is just an older version of today's mashup). Really, though, a medley usually (or at least used to) consist of more than one song by one artist, and you would probably at least do one verse and a chorus, then shift noticeably to another song...generally three to five songs. A mashup is probably defined more like this one, where all the bits and pieces are slung together (so successfully in this one by Home Free), so that they also overlap. It's hard to do this. My daughter has been working on one for a while, after hearing a couple of others by Home Free. You have to get them just right, changing keys to fit with all of them, and rhythms to not compliment the others...done successfully like this, it's true artistry. Great reaction, and I enjoyed watching it very much. Thanks!
