Even crazier on top of the observable universe bit is the multi-verse theory, it's entirely possible we are just in one universe of countless others. But what is containing all the multiple universes then. It's truly mind blowing and kinda frightening to think about, that's why I prefer the simulation theory lol
@liquidminds
@liquidminds 3 жыл бұрын
There is also some reports out there, that evidence of a previously existing universe (and it's cold, black-hole-riddled last days) can be detected in the cosmic microwave radiation. So yes... if you add the multiverse and the cycles of universes in it you can probably take the "pluto-sized" universe in this one, reduce it to the size of a grain of sand and repeat the video from the start...

You now have a better idea of the possible distance they're talking about, when "Star Wars says "a galaxy far, far away!" Also, let's continue to borrow from Sci-Fi. Let's say that at sometime in the future (perhaps FAR in future), humans create or "stumble" upon technology similar to: "warp-drive," "hyper-space," navigating through "wormholes," achieve the ability to "fold" space (Dune). That may help with our potential to vastly increase our range of distance in traveling beyond the "known" Universe. Remember, at one time, what was impossible then, is now science-fact. Of course, we may be talking a LOOONNG time in the future.

With universe ths big i don't think we're alone..it can't be it's impossible..even in just our Milky way galaxy there are 100 billions of stars..1 star makes 1 solar system and there are lots of planet in 1 solar system only ..and some stars are so enormous thn our sun maybe it can hold more thn 100 planet at once from its gravity.. imagine the planets one galaxy can hold thn..and there are about 2 trillions galaxies in our Observable universe only..now think about the whole universe..and I'm not talking about aliens only aliens can be in form of microorganisms or a primitive species..but I'm talking about intelligent civilization..i believe there are billions of civilization exist in the entire universe..and i also believe someday we will find them or they will find us but not everyone like it said in the video it's impossible for both of us because of the vastness of the universe.

How limited is our most genius? Can he not factor in the amazing ability of the human mind ? Every solution ever made was driven by nessesity and out of that does the human mind encounter to dissect anylize and breakdown the calculations needed to achieve said solution , divine intervention along with discipline makes for unknowable unforeseen discoveries, so who are we to say how long humankind will thrive ?
@jayzor
@jayzor 4 жыл бұрын
Gerard Rinaldi it’s not about how long we can thrive, but how long can we punish our planet as well as Pollute it until it says bye bye. We have major issues besides our vast intelligence. We are destroying the planet unless we can make big changes in the near future. It has been said we have roughly 76 years left of life, look it up, it’s scary. I hope we can “thrive” and figure out solutions in the near future z

What's even more mind boggling is that everything in our universe was 1% leftover of matter after the big bang. Back then, equal amount of matter and antimatter annihilated each other in a spectacular explosions made out of pure energy. But universe isn't perfect. So few matter escaped from being annihilated. Those matter that escaped are the stuff we see now and all the stuff that we are made out of.

It's funny how they say people have landed on the moon, when iv heard more than one astronaut say it would not be possible yet due to the fact they have no ships that can get out to it because of radiation, strange
@Moribax85
@Moribax85 4 жыл бұрын
you, sir, need to stop listening to fake astronauts, and should have probably did your job while in school instead of sleeping: radiation is the problem? are you serious? radiation means absolutely nothing, you're constantly bombarded with several types of radiation, being it thermal, electromagnetic, luminous, various kinds of rays. what matters is not if there is or there is not radiation, what matters is the type of radiation, and more importantly, its concentration and exposure time. i'll give you an easy example: say there's a furnace that's at 30 Celsius (86 F) next to you, would it kill you? no. now say that furnace is at 200 C (392 F), but you just sprint next to it so you're exposed to its radiation for only a fraction of a second, would you drop dead? no. but if you're not sprinting, if you're just standing there next to it naked it will eventually dehidrate you and you would pass out and die. In space there's radiation, but unless you are extremely close to a star, it's relatively weak, weak enough that a sheet of metal is protection enough. it's actually weak enough that if you find yourself naked in the void of space, you would die of asphyxiation way before radiation causes any damage. Not convinced yet? get a cheap telescope and point it at 00°41′15″N, 23°26′00″E on the lunar surface, you'll see the lander stage and the flag from Apollo 11. Don't want to even do that? stop wasting oxygen, because if you're so stupid to ignore proof that is presented to you from multiple sources, and you can verify easily by yourself, you're just a waste of space

It very well could be. Two points: 1. The chances of life happening is so incredibly low, that it is reasonable we are the first. 2. The Universe extremely young to the point where if compared to a human life time, it would be a few nanoseconds after conception. I personally believe we are the only intelligent civilization, but not the only life in the universe.
