Hua Hua mixed many elements in this song. It is so smooth and expressive. It seemed to be sung by three or four singers but actually there is only Hua Hua one singer. It's incredible ! He is genius. More of him pls.

Your reactions are so on point and you are just as enthusiastic as the fans. Hua is the most expressive and stage performer I have ever seen. There are many singers with great vocals and sings exceptional. But he gives a full performance and entertainment in one song, and that's every song he sings.

I love watching your Hua journey as I remember how I felt when I first saw his performances. Nunchucks is the first video of his I have ever seen and I was immediately pulled in the magical world he creates! Watching his performances and listening to his songs opened a gate to a fantasy land where I can be myself and escape from my daily routine. Thank you for spreading his music to the world, the world needs him❤️

He mixed China traditional opera into this performance. This song original is just a rap, he rearranged n added so many elements into it.

I really enjoyed your reaction of Hua Hua. It brought back many happy memories when I first discovered Hua Chenyu earlier this year. I really love him and wish more people in the world will find out about him! I want to add that he uses two voices in this song like what he has done in another performance before. He has rearranged this song to sing first with the narrator's voice, as the kid growing up learning how to use nunchucks as a kung fu weapon/exercise and then to sing the other voice (the opera voice) as the kung fu master/teacher who tries to pass on the tradition/art of kung fu. If you read the lyrics carefully, you will find out that it is sort of like telling the story of how the young man learns to use nunchucks. This song is originally a rap song by Jay Zhou, a famous Chinese singer. In order to adapt it for the Singer performance, Hua Chenyu mused through fishing (without the intent to catch any fish) and he came up with using the Chinese opera voice to represent the kung fu master's voice (as the opera voice in some way represents the old and the traditional). I guess he is pretty happy about his own idea and satisfied with his own performance in the end!

1st comment 👍 ,I love Hua Chenyu and love all your Hua Hua reaction. Thank you for introduce yourself 😍😍😍 Hua Chenyu produces music for himself in the early days, but after his debut, his fans give him lots of love and support, so he started to compose music that made his audiences/fans be part of his music, I love the very first song released by him "Why Nobody Fights", this song he actually plan for everyone to sing together and he got 90,000 people sing along in his last year concert, it's stunning. Please check out this song after you discover more of him. A super simple song which only contains 3 words, I always think only genius can compose this song. It's okay to have different visual after listening to his music as that's what he wanted to achieve, he always want audiences to have different visual after listening to his music. He once said his talents is freedom, so his music has no limitations, no boundaries.

I love to watch your reactions, is so sincere and natural, you both can feel him very well!! by the way, the middle part was traditional Chinese opera and he has been performed it very well. I am always enjoying to watch his performance but if you have a chance to watch his live performance, you will surely jump up and enjoy to the max!

I really enjoyed your reactions, that's the way to enjoy music, isn't it! There's so many elements in this song which rearranged by Hua Hua, he's a genius!!! Love him!!! Thanks for reacting to this performance and what's next? :P

I see so many parallels between Hua chenyu and Freddie Mercury. Both are geniuses who are daring and unafraid to try to incorporate different elements into a song. Love his performance!

Wow~ So happy!! Welcome to Mars! You can simply say "Watching You" for his name~ I like the description of the ocean and wind, such a fresh idea! A small reminder, it's better to mark the official video link in your description. That would be safer for copyright strikes from KZbin. And there are some mistranslations in Bb Bb channel. Please avoid using it. Some videos even lower the key.

3 months late, but better late then never i suppose. The phonic for his name is 'hu-a che-n (like chi but with 'e') y-u ( like pronouncing 'yo' without the 'o' at the end). For sample, put his chinese character name 华晨宇 into google translator and press the speaker button on the chinese text side.

Great reactions. Like how you describe his M.O. of how he sings - from nice, slow and beautiful and then he builds you up high and then leads you back down. I've learned that the part where he sings and dances slowly in that feminine Oriental voice is the traditional China opera - sung by head voice. A word of caution. Reacting to Singer's and his concert videos are fine. Be very careful when you start reacting to videos in which Hua Chenyu is in the Next contest and any recent shows. Other reactors got strikes and their reaction videos got deleted or their account got deleted.

You guys should watch the pre-performance how he actually got a bunch of people to record the choir part so it wasn't the audience singing with him cuz this was a cover and sounded nothing like the original. It was a complete rearranged version of his very own within 48 hours. He also talked about he doesn't really care what the audience think (cuz he was asked why he was being do strict with the quality of the recording if audience isn't going to understand) and he said he has to be able to live with himself and it has to meet his standard first. I love how talented he is but it's also he is soooo mature for his age, he knows exactly what he needs to do and focus on what is important ...overtime I fell in love with his personality AND obviously his music ;) you should definitely check out bull fight !!!!
