REACTION: I Suffered Through 1 Hour Of Shartfield So You Don't Have To

This is a condensed version of my first hour in Starfield on Xbox Series X, which also happens to be my last hour because Starfield is unironically the worst game I've played in 2023 and I'm flabbergasted by how garbage this game actually is. The finer points:
💩 Sub-30 FPS
💩 PS3-tier shooting and graphical effects
💩 Janky movement coded by an amateur developer
💩 Tin can sounds
💩 Muddy "4K" graphics
💩 Amoeba A"I"
💩 Horrendous UI/UX
💩 Empty planets
💩 Loading screens aplenty
If that doesn't sound up your alley, there is no need for you to suffer by playing this garbage like I did.

I played this on Game Pass and still wanted to return it. This game has terrible UI/UX, it should not take more than one menu to do this, and they didn't even tell you how to do it as far as I'm aware. It's just a poorly designed game start to finish, and by that I mean the foundations of the game. Nobody ever needs to play a game for more than an hour to know if they like it and it's seething cope from the Starfield cultists who say you have to do so to have a valid opinion on it. Don't forget to LIKE the upload so more people can find out how bad this trash is, haha.

I'd be more curious about the actual quality of writing and quests on display compared to other roleplaying games.

If you check the About section on my channel you'll see how I rate games, with game mechanics being first and story being last. A story isn't even a necessary part of a game, examples being Tetris, chess, and Minecraft, three of the best games of all time that have no story. The gameplay mechanics in Starfield are so bad between moving and shooting that I couldn't possibly enjoy any writing or quests that come later in the game, then the framerate ruins any other possible hope of me enjoying them. I also already got a taste of how bad the writing and story are from the cutscenes I endured during this brief playthrough. So, keep that in mind, I only care for game mechanics and don't care at all for story in games, because I pretty much make up my own story in games as I go along.

The "best" clip I saw on twitter was someone on PC spawning 10,000 milk cartons on a building and watching them all fall down. I guess those of us on console won't get to experience the true game 😔
