This is strange but true. The Austin Former Student club is the largest one in the world? I’m class of ‘83 graduate and I find that hard to believe but I am told it is true. In recent years the A&M former student club and the Texas Ex club actually had happy hours together! I doubt that will happen this next season(s).

Not even remotely close. Kiffin left for USC. Tennessee put in the contract he could leave for USC. Darrell Royal left Washington after one season for Texas. Tommy Tuberville left Ole Miss for Auburn after saying he wasn't leaving. That's the same conference!

Sure he’ll feel right at home at tu. You are right, teaching my kids life lessons is my job and hopefully most of A&M’s players’ parents upheld their responsibility and those players saw right through him. Once a kid leaves your household, he/she is susceptible to unsavory characters’ influence. We just trust that our influence outweighs unsavory influences.

What is so shocking? Not only is it his singular dream job, but personally Schlossnagle and Del Conte have been best friends for several years. And professionally, they obviously know they work great together from several years experience. Quit feeling sorry for the Aggies. They dominated the first game then Aggied up the next two just like anybody could have predicted. Less than 48 hours after Bob Bowman(coach of Michael Phelps and many other olympians) led Arizona State to the NCAA Championship he accepted the head coach job at Texas, replacing Eddie Reese. One of the worst parts was Texas purposely canning their coach the morning of the championship game. Texas could have waited 1 freakin day to announce that. They wanted to cause a distraction for A&M. Not saying A&M would have won (Tenn was awesome). C’mon now yesterday was a different tune. How is it a lateral move if a&m attended their first national championship? A&M admin knew this could happen, that’s the purpose of the buyout clause. Schloss wasn’t hired by the current AD at a&m. So he doesn’t have any familiarity with the new guy but has a history with CDC. The decision isn’t as hard as folks make it. UT just means more(pun intended). Yeah, sec ain’t ready for TEXAS-a&m rivalry.
