Oh Angie! See how much emotion he puts into the song. He tugs at your heart strings! Notice when he sweats a lot, you know when the big notes are going to hit. Even at the end of his performance and the deafening noise of applause of the crowd....he walks to the mic and tells them to thank his band etc. So, so humble. Yes Angie it's a Beatles cover of 'Help' however John has made it his own as this version is a more dramatic and slowed down version of the original 'fast paced' original. John Lennon is said to have heard John's version and said it was how he wanted to sing it but they were told 'no' because they were a pop group. Angie be proud of those tears lovely, they are showing your appreciation and love for this amazing human. We love authentic reactors. Bless you.

Most people seem to love the performance with the MSO the best. But this one is my favourite as its when you first see him start to move this song into that "Rock" mode which he perfected by the time he performed it with the MSO Plus we see him playing a musical instrument which doesn't happen often

Love you Angie 💕 Greetings from Australia ! . . Yes this song was written by the great song-writer John Lennon. John Farnham of course is a very rare specialist singer-entertainer (just like Elvis and Tom Jones). These guys were so talented they had professional song-writers lined up wanting to write songs for them.

Me too. Went to a 4pm release of it. Very interesting, especially the early years with his parents and I noted that Gaynor Wheatley was called MANAGER towards the end. So I suppose she is managing John should he continue ... once he is up for it again, IF he is up for it again.
