I love seeing a young generation experiencing Zeppelin. Their music has transcended so much time already. They are one of, if not the, greatest bands of all time.

When Led Zeppelin got together in 1968, they recorded their first album very quickly and included cover songs because they didn't have enough original material. The band spent 1969 on tour and recorded this 2nd album 'Led Zeppelin II' between tours of America and Europe and they captured magic for sure on that record 🔥🔥🤘🤘It included their first major hit - 'Whole lotta love'... and charted at #1 in 1969 (a first for Led Zeppelin) and was a mix of blues, psychedelic and heavy rock... Standout tracks included - 'Heartbreaker' ... "Livin' lovin' Maid" ... 'Ramble on' ... 'Bring it on home' If u listen to the 'Led Zeppelin III' album from 1970, it's a mostly acoustic record... the band wanted to try new things and didn't want to be just a heavy rock band. At the time, fans were disappointed because there was no 'Whole lotta love' on it... But in 1971, Led Zeppelin scored their biggest record (Technically untitled, often called 'Led Zeppelin IV') w/ the song 'Stairway to heaven' ... and the album has sold 24 million copies in the US to date, top 5 album of all time.

Awesome song from my favorite Led Zeppelin album, their 2nd, the famous Brown Bomber that, along with the first album, set a standard for all heavy music to come. Jimmy Page is indeed a wizard on guitar. Same album, try Heartbreaker if you want to hear what a Gibson Les Paul sounds like in the hands of a musical genius. Enjoy! 🎵🎸🎤🎹🎶

Led Zeppelin had a lot of great and well known songs. This one, according to the book Hammer of the Gods: The Led Zeppelin Saga, Robert Plant wrote the lyric reflecting on his affair with his wife's younger sister.
@JoeandAngie10 ай бұрын
That book was bunk because of Richard Cole's animus towards the band
@davidcarter424710 ай бұрын
To my understanding the song was about forbidden love. When Plant attended court on drugs charges prior to Led Zeppelin, one of young women with him was his wife Maureen's little sister Shirley. She was about 14, the "what should never be". The song Thank You on the same album was about Maureen who was the breadwinner while Plant struggled to become a professional singer. Many years later after his divorce from Maureen, Plant would father a child with Shirley.

I know something about figuring out rhythms or beats as well. It’s a bit more of a challenge with a band like Rush with all the shifting time signatures going on, but Neil Peart was a master craftsman of a drummer who could play these meters in such a way that people were unaware that he was playing in an odd time signature. Rush is a very interesting band on many different levels, lyrics included. It would be great if you could play anything off of Permanent Waves, Moving Pictures or Signals. I just found your channel and it’s so great. Your mentioning of mean people in the comments stuns me as I can’t understand how anyone could be mean to you.

I just discovered you. I see it's been a year since you've explored Led Zeppelin. You should delve back into their catalogue. They are amazing. I recommend you check out the studio recording of the song "Since I've Been Loving You". And like you did with this one, I recommend sticking to the studio recordings for all of their songs. Zeppelin were very improvisational, and the songs would often change from night to night, often with long improvisational jams in the middle, and if you're not into long improvisational jams, then stick with the original studio recordings. They'll give you a much better understanding and appreciation for the songs, and they just sound so much better. I attached the link below: Since I've Been Loving You kzbin.info/www/bejne/rJSslqBjgZhsbtk I subscribed! Peace

Production team? It's all me. Also, you can hate my headphones all you want, but they are noise canceling and really good. Finally, who watches a reaction to pay so much attention to one's headphones. A bunch got mad when I didn't have a pair, and now you are mad at the pair I have. It dont change what you hear as I said when I didn't have a pair. Stop caring over minor things that are irrelevant to the reaction itself.
