mamamoo is my favorite group and Solar, the one doing all the belting is my favorite singer, though all 4 are the best. mamamoo is known specifically for being extremely talented vocalists and they sing that well live. I did get to see them live here in LA last June, it is unreal on how they can sound that good live and can do that through 3 hour concerts, with all the choreo. There are few that sing as well and it is as you said, they have something extra about them that just isnt in other groups nor them as soloists, which they all are. Welcome to becoming a moomoo, there are 100s of videos, watch both MVs and Live. The MVs are always well produced and live because you just wont find many groups who can perform live like they do. They do pretty much every genre, they can do all very well but are known for doing jazz, bigband and other retro sounds, they also compose quite a bit of their own music, and since they are now older, 29 to 33 years old, they have a lot of production influence as well.

Mamamoo is BEST OF THE BEST!!! Wait until you see them in live stages. They TEAR DOWN places. And yes, they are known for chaotic natures and subverting any rules imposed on them. This IS NOT a normal K-pop group. This one definitely goes their own way. They are FANTASTIC performers.

Happy Birthday~~!! Mamamoo is my fav group! Thank you for reacting to them. If you do deep dive (which I hope so), go with the introduction/guide from Purple Hawke. Immortal Songs Medley is a video that you wish you were in their concert! Killing Voice shows just a little snippet on their diverse discography. I think they have more than 100 songs as group. Not including their own solo songs.

Mamamoo, four superstars collectively as Mamamoo and individually as each member has their own very successful solo career. Widely know as the vocal queens of kpop and the biggest crackheads/goofball in the business. Mamamoo is not your typical kpop girl group. They are women being women, not little girls trying to be sexy or grown women trying to be cute, but women being themselves and showing their natural talents. Happy birthday! It's always so fun to see someone transform into a Mamamoo fan right before our eyes. As you dive deeper into their discography, you can come back to this Killing Voice and re-watch it over and over, and you'll pick up something new to be amazed by each time- how they nail every song like the studio versions, how their timing is immaculate even as they're playing around, harmonies and ad libs you didn't notice before. And the fact that this was shot in one take is just ridiculous. They are truly masters of their craft. You are right, there is no other group quite like them. They are tremendous as soloists yet they are somehow even better when they perform together. Thanks for the reaction vid!

rapper moonbyul/moonstar, belter leader Solar, Wheein,hwasa youngest

Nice birthday gift. In this video, they are in their normal order, the way you will see them 90% of the time. Left to right It's Moonbyul (also called Moonstar because byul translates to star) the rapper and dancer, Solar the leader and vocalist, Wheein the vocalist and dancer, and Hwasa the vocalist rapper and youngest. These are their positions in Mamamoo but they all have well established solo careers, and they all sing, they all dance, they all rap, they all compose, and they all produce. They are coming up on their tenth anniversary since debut and were together for a couple of years before that as trainees. Actually, Wheein and Hwasa were best friends since middle school. Wheein has announced US dates for her solo world tour. Go if you can. Moonbyul is starting the Asian leg of her solo world tour, and we don't have US dates yet. Go if you can.

@@Ming3484 I traveled to Dallas from Seattle to see them last year and it was worth it. My problem now is I return from central Asia on May 20 and miss the California dates, and still be jetlagged for Texas. That leaves the east coast and that's hard. I heard she might add dates if these sell out quickly. I'm not sure I can count on it.

Excellent. As a 60-year veteran of pop, punk, rock, and metal, I stumbled upon these women a few years ago and was awestruck. They toured the U.S. last year for the first time, and I made it a point to see them. They were amazing, goofy, funny, and their vocals were always on point. Appropriately, they had a stellar sound system and excellent techs manning the boards. Their show was a treat and a nice change of pace for me. I'm glad you enjoyed them. A belated Happy Birthday!

My B-Day was last Monday😊😊😊 Mamamoo are known as vocal queens of kpop. I love their more mature sound and look. For guy groups you should check out EXO. Their Killing Voice is just as good and they are known as vocal kings 😊😊😊😊 For me, the top 2 kpop groups... Saw Mamamoo in concert last year, hope to one day see EXO
