Nice reaction. They were fun together that night. Marcelito, as you probably know, lived on the streets from the age of 7 and did not go to school so he did not learn english as most Filipinos do there. He uses his wife or keyboard player to help him with translating as needed when it goes beyond his knowledge. He was working in construction when he won Filipinos Got Talent in 2011. Morissette and Marcelito are good friends and had worked on a television program together. Morissette was a bridesmaid at Marcelito's wedding.

Thanks for a nice reaction! Reactors discover Morissette and Marcelito individually and then think this will be fantastic. Mori's solo version of Secret Love Song on the WIsh Bus (at over 215 million views) is the most watched Wish Bus video ever and is much better thant this duet in my humble opinion. Mori's "You Are The Reason" duet with Daryl Ong and "A Whole New World" duet from the movie Aladdin with Darren Espanto are 2 of the best duets I have ever heard. I highly recommend you check them out. 😊😊❤❤❤❤

#Morissette is at least trilingual and yes her English is perfect. :) Not that it matters, but I don't get the single language thing. Natural talent fueled by national obsession with singing/karaoke. They are that good from a very early age.

@nbx2au We're in Texas, many Spanish speaking people, but languages from all over as well! I honestly should learn Spanish... it would help living here. We knew an older gentlemen who worked as a busboy at a favorite restaurant of ours and he spoke NO English... but we all managed to have short conversations with him through our pathetic Spanish knowledge and Google translate 😆

Morissette speak 'cebuano' lingua franca in southern Ph then 'tagalog' our national language and English. Check Morissette's latest song "Ang Paghuwat". It is in Cebuano but don't worry there's subtitle in her music video.
