I actually got to know BTS through this song. I saw it on a youtubers react and I immediately liked the beat and dance and Jimin with his red hair stood out to me. I wasn't new to Kpop but I'm a bit more OG fan so I wasn't in to any newer groups. But I've never been such a fan for a group or artist as I am for BTS. For me they're on a whole different level! It was really fun to see you enjoy yourself to the fullest!

Love your reaction! Dope is the MV that to me, really shows off how well SUGA can dance. This style suits him well and he makes it look effortless. I know when they shifted more from hip-hop to idol mode, dancing was par for the course, but it never fails to amaze me how well he does it. There are plenty of clips of SUGA complaining about having to dance, but there are also adorable clips of his wanting to be recognized for how hard he works and how well he moves. When he talks about k-pop being the whole bundle - music, visual, and dance, this is a perfect example of how it all comes together. ^_^

Ok so seeing your excitement, I have to tell you... My daughter and I became ARMY at about the beginning of global lockdown in 2020 and I abso-tively LOOOOOVE this song! So even though I had no idea when/if we were ever going to go to a concert, I started collecting their CDs, bought ARMY bombs, etc. so that I would be prepared. So imagine my ABSOLUTELY delirious excitement when they announced the PTD Concert, 4 days in Los Angeles AND I was able to get tickets (I live in LA and literally drove by SoFi Stadium nearly every weekend until Nov.28th!); then this song is one of their older songs so I wasn't sure if they would even perform it!! I sooo wanted to yell "JJEORO!!!", since that's what I do at home or in the car🤷🏾. They did sing it and so I did yell it💯... needless to say I guess. And so, I understand your excitement and I'll never, ever forget my first live BTS concert, the experience shared with my 14yr old daughter. #OT7 #BTSARMYForever

Dope is the song that launched them forward with the GP. It is such a criticism against the work culture, but it is so fun you don't really get that unless you really invest in the lyrics. The transition work with the camera is chef's kiss and I def rock out every time they perform it. If you watch it in the medley during the last tour (search Speak Yourself medley) you can hear the rock version!! It goes SO hard.

Well somebody had plenty of energy today :D I watch Jordan orme, who is a music video editor. At the end of every video he does dance therapy and leaps about to whichever video he just reacted to. You should listen to Magic Shop and JK's Euphoria. The reason why I brought up these 2 songs is because I just watched your video of On Commentary Film with Lucas where Lucas talked about how difficult it is to mix these songs. That comments reminded me of Magic Shop and Euphoria because these 2 songs were mixed/produced by DJ Swivel and there are videos of him showing all of those insane tracks that he have to mix and his mixing process,etc. Thought that's something you and Lucas would be interested to watch!
