Regarding "Esta vida loca / a mirar la foca / asando un salmòn / norwegian reggaeton", when they say "a mirar la foca" they refer to the title of a trashy italian comedy movie from the 70s entitled "Viva la foca, che Dio la benedoca" which is a self-censored way to say "viva la fica, che dio la benedica" (long live pussy, may god bless it), and changing the vowels fica becomes foca (seal) and benedica becomes benedoca which doesn't mean anything thereby revealing where the trick lays (that o's stand for i's and foca actually means fica). So "a mirar la foca" can refer to living your life with that summer vibe looking for pussy, and "asando un salmòn" might be related to it because of fish being tipically used, at least in italian but not only, as one of the animal references of choice for phallic symbolisms and innuendos, so probably asando un salmòn (and by the way asando sounds similar to the italian "alzando", raising) refers to an erection in reaction to having mirado la foca

I doubt this explanation very very much. I believe "mirar la foca" is simply random as the salmon part".. I bet the spanish lyrics are written by charly glamour, who is spanish, from a band that does very similar comedy metal stuff and is the guy singing the "solo" spanish parts.... And no, a salmon isnt a reference to a penis, at least not more than any other fish (no one will use a fish reference to refer a penis in spanish, unless you say "badajo"). I believe they simply added random spanish phrases with no sense, and they simply talk about animals that are typical found at norwegian coasts, just like the references to killer whales.. unless you want to find something sexual about killer whales too.

I feel like the little bit at the end is proof positive the band and all hired actors were indeed heavily inebriated at at least one point during filming....quite potentially even progressively getting more drunk as the shoot went on, which just goes to show how much fun the band has which is so amazingly refreshing much of what I listen to the bands take themselves so very seriously but nanowar definitely just loves making fun and funny music because they can

I'm honestly surprised with the time this video has been up, the band responding directly, and the obvious lack of "reference, get" regarding the multiple Fantoft/Varg references in the song, that some sauce boss fan hasn't explained in the 2 years since this reaction was released. I don't *know* specific details about why the band put certain things in the video, this is stuff I've picked up from comments and Google Fu. This is by far a non-exhaustive list of the references within, but specific to the Fantoft/Varg bits. -- At the start of the video he talks about burning down the Fantoft church in 1992. This was a big thing in Norway at the time; it was the first of roughly 50 churches burned down for reasons not entirely known, but later stated in an interview with Varg Vikernes to be an attempt to reclaim the land for Paganism since it was brutally ousted by Christianity. Or to sell his upcoming album in the band Burzum, "Hvis lyset tar oss" (If the light takes us). One or the other. If you like dark-adjacent history, it could be a good read. In the Spanish lyrics one verse says "Let's go dance with Hellhammer and Varg" who were both band members of the band Mayhem, a pretty messed up band of misfits if you look at their history. Arson, suicide, murder, fun stew there? The picture that was set on fire at the start of the guitar solo was Varg, I'm guessing karmically burned in photographic effigy based on the lyrical context of the song and general expressions of those in the scene. Great reaction though. I enjoyed it immensely.
