I have been listening to NF for a while now. This I do know; beef and drama sells, right. There is something about the human spirit that enjoys "mess". It is a failed attempt to hold your breath indefinitely. NF makes it clear that he is a Christian that raps; not a Christian Rapper. I love all of his symbolism as well as his "bars". He really is relatable. He simply chooses not to cuss, not because he doesn't know how.... I hope that he is rewarded for his passion by this double edged music industry; but if not, his passion will always trump this system. By the way; I believe the seven letter word is "freedom". let me go itself is rap but aaallssoo there's a hip hop beat (yes the 2 genres are closely linked but still 2 genres) the chorus has a feel related to sadcore, and the song starts and ends in a cinematic piece (which in itself is a genre). so 4 in total. n yeah it doesn't seem a lot I know but if u know music it's harder said than done to overlay all these together (n make it flow n sound that good.)

Joel Sletten I would argue he did. Let Me Go sounds like a Tool song (not to the level of musicianship but the way the instrumental is structured). Haunting. I Miss the Days was a very Christian sounding track. Gospel choir. No Excuses sounds like a trap song. Trauma is a ballad with piano. Time sounds like a radio pop song. And then of course NF is a rapper so the rest of the tracks fit into that genre.

1st, I did the movie thing...you hit the nail on the head! 2nd...that is far fetched that it was a diss. I can't say that I can trust myself to always make the right decisions. I like to think I do more often than not. But, temptation is real, sometimes the right decision isn't necessarily obvious at that moment, and obviously emotions can and will cloud your judgement sometimes. But, I can say that I strive towards being someone trustworthy, understanding, moral, and who owns up to my mistakes. So, yes I do trust myself. But, I didn't always. Even now there's times that I am my own worst enemy. But, I definitely trust myself more than anyone else. I don't trust easily and I always trust "to a point."

The raw, uncut emotions, the calm which only adds in the rage of feelings... This is the kind of music that can truly help people. When I was at my lowest I tried to kill myself a couple of times, but there were many times per month that I considered it, even preparing to do it. Standing there, just millimeter/seconds away from being dead with the knife in my hand, the jar of pills cracked open, up on the wrong side of the rail on the bridge or all alone in the cold, rainy pitch black night next to the train tracks, the only thing holding me back and leading me back down from the edge was music. There was no diss between Em and NF. They're both very blunt with their words. Em will make it known if he is dissing, and who he is dissing. NF, says in "Therapy Session": "I ain't the type to be quiet I ain't gon' sit here in silence If I wouldn't say what I say to your face Then I promise you, I wouldn't say it in private" He's real with his words, so if he really is going to diss someone, it would be very very clear lol. NF doesn’t roll that way....no diss to Em....NF May say he’s running the game, but that’s more overall. He grew up on Em, and doesn’t do diss tracks to date. As a huge Em fan also, I don’t think Em needs or should diss NF, except that IS how Em rolls. He’s known among other things for ruining careers, and he was a battle rapper. NF was not. They are the only 2 hip-hop artists I own ALL their music. Both are amazing and would love to hear a collab!

I've got a huge favor to ask you and your followers. It doesn't have anything to do with NF but it does come from the heart and I'm crying while writing this. My husband is ill and has only a few years left. He never asks for anything but last night he said he knows he's never going to get the car or house he wants but there's one thing he really wants. My husband is a lot more fond of animals than people. He wants a King Shepherd which is like half German Shepherd and half Alaskan Malamute. There's no way we can afford this but if he wanted an elephant I'd find a way. So if anyone knows of a reputable breeder that can get us a puppy. I just realized that the reason that Let Me Go has such a great swing to it is because it's the only song on the album with a 6/8 time signature... Sorry, I sing in a progressive metal band and notice shit like this.... A 6/8 time signature is very rare in rap music. 4-4 is generally the time signature used. The fact that he used a 6/8 time signature is just crazy and makes me respect him even more as a musician.

I think what he means by not trusting himself is telling yourself you will no one thing but do another. At least that's how it is for me. Example- I would tell my stuff not to do drugs again or not to drink as much. I literally would wake up in the morning and tell myself no beer today Tyler. Then I have a terrible long work day and before I go to bed I'm drunk. Or 6 months later I've been clean from drugs and then get stress the F out and I get depressed and turn to that. Movie scene: Man is standing in the rain on a crowded street. Everything is in slow motion around him. He starts to think about all of his mistakes and is dwelling on his regrets. We see flashes of all the things that are eating at him. When the tempo picks up he snaps out of his daze and starts searching for a place to be alone. The background starts to move faster and begins to blur. Through his chaotic vision one thing comes in to crystal clear view and it triggers his dark thoughts again. Finally, towards the end of the song he finds some kind of refuge in a darkened alley. Then he sees a broken mirror leaning against a dumpster and the song fades as he looks at his broken image. He no longer shows any sign of thinking and it becomes clear by the look on his face that he is starting to give up all hope. The definition of rock bottom. As the final note is played the rain begins to stop and is perceived as a turning point in this man's life. He is completely broken and alone and now must learn to rebuild his world.

I personally feel that nfs naturally not going to go on record saying that that he threw jabs at Eminem but em definitely threw jabs at NF But if you notice Eminem features nf in a lot of his songs now so I think em grew a new respect for nf since they dissed each other
