She had a successful surgery, which removed all cancer cells and she announced Nov 18 2022 that she is cancer free now and Nightwish have been continuing their European Tour for over 2 weeks now as planned performing almost every night.

No song of Nightwish is the same, they are so versatile and professional and with Floor they have a charismatic story teller and a great vocalist.

She announced the surgery was successful and she is cancer free. She will have some follow up radiation treatments in a couple of months. They started a European tour right after that which is currently under way. They played in Luxembourg last night and Vienna tomorrow. They are starting an Asian tour in January, then take a break, and they plan to start recording the new Album early next summer. This was a great finale song, but an even better one is The Greatest Show on Earth, that you should still watch live sometime.

I saw Nightwish last Sunday in Amsterdam and this concert was just as good as Wacken 2013 and will be as legendary. The absolute highlight was Nightwish + Floor + Henk with Phantom of the Opera.Guys are looking forward to the LIVE DVD!

The Wacken 2013 concert is still the best Nightwish concert. The setlist is all awesome. And what an introduction of Floor to the European fans. So happy she's fully recovered from her Cancer ordeal

Hi Justin and his wife, Floor has had surgery and is fine, she has already returned to the shows this month on the European tour, on the last 20th she at the end of the song Sleeping Sun she barely managed to finish singing and started to cry, and so did I, she is still recovering emotionally which is understandable for what she went through but soon our Queen will be 100%, a hug from Brazil.

Floor had the surgery to remove the tumor, and about 3months from now she'll have kemo if needed. They are touring again, and she got little emotional in Sleeping Sun song at Amsterdam.

Great reaction guys! This song has my favorite lyric. "It's harder to light a candle, easier to curse the dark instead." This song is on the current tour setlist. They end the show with Last Ride of the Day, Ghost Love Score, Greatest Show on Earth, and then Ad Astra (8th movement from All the Works of Nature Which Adorn the World). An incredibly emotional and uplifting ending to a concert. I have never left a show so happy, energized, and ready to make the world a better place.

This song at masters of Rock is also very good. A side note, going by the lyrics, there's a couple words I guess floor can't say, one being abracadabra. In the song she sings, there's an empty spot where where that word goes!

Check out the lyrics sometime - there's a lot of good thoughts & images in there, somewhat covered up by the fact that it's such a banger of a song (literally in this show)! It took me ages to spot, but the version in the Imaginaerum booklet (which cuts out repetition) could easily be read as a poem. They still do this, just not as the closer.

Floor receives a ton of attention and rightfully so. But Marco was also a massive asset to the band. I'm not sure if this has been mentioned on your channel previously but he was on the short list of singers to replace Bruce Dickinson in Iron Maiden when he left the band in the 90's. Frankly I feel it was a mistake not to choose him, that dude has some world class pipes. Cheers!

I always loved the fact that Marco always got the last vocal line in Last Ride of the Day and the last chorus line to himself without Floor! That makes it feel as if the band is acknowledging how important his vocals are to the band and giving him the last, most important moment of the concert to shine on his own so everyone watching remembers how important he is too. Loved Marco in Nightwish but they really didn't utilize him to his best ability. His vocal skills shine so much brighter in all of his other projects. Marko would not have been just a replacement for Bruce either, it would have been like with eg. Black Sabbath singers, just a new era that is fantastic in distinct manner while keeping the spirit of the band alive. So glad he's doing a bit better now, he deserves so much support for all his contributions and sacrifice for us.
