Sa lifetime ko, now I'm 62, wala talaga akong hilig sa mga ganito, nag magiging fan pa ako. Ngayon lang ako humanga sa isang grupo gaya ng SB19 na kinilala mo lahat ng tungkol sa kanila na feeling mo, family mo na sila. Nakakapanood ako sa TV noon ng mga band, girly grps, kahit yung mga nausong mga Kpop pero parang pare-pareho lang ang dinig ko. Di ko ma differentiate. Pero kaiba talaga ang SB19. Hindi rin sila takot mag explore ng style nila, hindi na iniisip kung magugustuhan ng mga tao. Sila ang nagtuturo sa mga tao ng bagong tunog, bagong style. Mataas ang kalidad ng music nila dahil hindi sila commercial oriented. Artist talaga sila.

Mula nag unti unti kong napapanood ang mga video nila. Ngayon naging addict ako sa kanila. Binabalik balikan ko sila. Sa totoo lng kahit mga kpop walang tatalo sa kanila. Kaya nga inis ako sa mga pilipino na addict sa mga kpop kaysa sa ppop.

So grateful that they are open to discussing their mental health and that they are each other's support. The world is brutal and some people look at celebrities as targets for their vitriol. From what I have read and watched through their performances, these young men are great human beings, humble and ever so cognizant of their responsibility to the younger Filipinos that through hard work and faith and being true to your beliefs, one can can achieve your goal no matter what your socioeconomic status is. It is important for the younger Filipino generation to stand up and fight for what you want in life and not settle for what someone dictates of you because it is the easier path to take. They are artists, not just celebrities, whose main goal is not churning out music that the world wants to hear to make money, but making their own heartful music heavy with messages and lessons learned and promoting the heart and soul of the Filipino. May they run long taking us with them on their journey. Can't wait for this documentary to air on Netflix or Disney so we may be able to watch it outside the Phil. My honest opinion.

I listened to a lot of different music and genres from rock to pop, ballad to new wave, disco & rap but never been an avid fan of an artist before until SB19 came! More than their visuals, talent, authenticity, music that resonates, funny antics, genuine brotherhood and humility is their passion for Filipino music recognition globally! Yes, I enjoyed listening to their music and the lyrics in every song are always written beautifully and Pablo is right when he said that they can just make music and enjoy popularity locally but it’s their ultimate dream to put Ppop internationally is the main reason I support this group! I hope there will be no more bashers or haters that always pull these boys down because their intent for OPM in general is pure and admirable. They keep doing what they love most, they continue with breaking norms in Philippine music, always inspiring others, and always proving that hard work pays off and never doubt yourself will lead you to success!
