You can totally feel the sorrow in Taka's voice in this song. 😭 I'm so jealous of anyone who got to see this performed live last week at Blare Fest. Probably the first and last time it will ever be performed. All of PTP's songs are in English. This is their only song that has any Japanese lyrics and at the time of its release, a lot of PTP fans resented Taka for doing that. I hope they feel differently about it now.

yes, they were friends. taka helped the band to finish this song because k can’t do it anymore. taka wrote the lyrics and sang this song but it’s a ptp song.

Ok, for additional info, this song is part of an album (gene) that featured many members from other bands (Taka from OOR, Masato from Coldrain, Koie and Teru from Crossfaith, Jesse from Rize...) after K died. Just last week, Coldrain held their Blare Festival and had many of those bands as part of their lineup. The extra special thing was that PTP were part of the lineup as well, with a special live in collaboration with all these artists. Among the songs played was this one, making it the first live performance of Voice. We're impatiently waiting to see if it will be broadcasted later 🙏

If I may just correct you, as I mentioned, Voice is a song that is part of PTP's last album gene, Taka and all the other vocalists at just featuring in this tribute album. So this song was actually performed by the PTP band members and Taka, not by ONE OK ROCK 😉
