IM HERE FOR IT! I saw the notification and I clicked. RIP Kei Goto. He was my hero growing up, even though I only knew their music for less than a year before he died... I was only 13 when I discovered them on KZbin, the same way I discovered Re:Make a year prior. I still remember being on the bus in the back alone, Kei's voice screaming out during the beginning of Sweetest Vengence or singing The Same As You Are every day. So many great songs. Some of my favorites are: Home, From Here to Somewhere (THAT INTRO!), Paralyzed Ocean, and The answer is not in the TV (SUCH a hype song, and the message is ahead of its time). I would give so much to be able to pay money to his pain again. I hoped one day to go to Japan and see him live, maybe even with some of the boys... One OK Rock, SiM, Coldrain, Crossfaith. There are other bands in this circle you have yet to experience that you have to check out. They're all friends in real life, the singers at least.

everything about this song is beautiful, from the emotions, the lyrics, the instrumentals, and taka's singing. i feel the same as you guys with my favorite part being the gorgeous guitar solo followed by the slow build up into taka belting "we're not alone!!!" the way he sings that part in particular hits so deep every time. ;-;

"Thank you P.T.P" (Thank you K) Honestly, I never really listen to P.T.P. This song, however, is so emotional and really beautiful. I think this is a tribute by the band itself, while the tribute written by OOR is "Smiling Down". I really like the lyrics "Behind the notes and outside the lines", for me (my interpretation only) those represent the notes and the stave line in music sheets. Thanks for the reaction.

Toru composed the music and Taka wrote the lyrics for "smiling down". It's hard for Taka to sing S because it's so emotional.

I know exactly what you mean Swifty, this is a song where once you hear the powerful lyrics and music, you immediately feel that overwhelming emotion and want to sing your heart out. The way I interpreted it was when Taka sung "when you can't speak, with so much to say" and "I hear your voice" followed by that incredibly beautiful and powerful 'screaming' guitar solo, it was almost as if K's voice came out as that emotion, as if all of the words he wanted to say and all of the emotions he wanted to convey were emanating from that guitar solo. The guitar was crying out in so much sadness and pain, but it was beautiful. This was my favourite reaction from you guys so far because I could feel how connected you guys were to this song and what it stands for. Rest In Peace, K "We're not alone."

That song it's so emotional because the vocalist of PTP (his name is K) was Taka's best friend and he pass away. You have to react "Smiling Down" (Saitama Super Arena), that song was wrote to K. It's a song so emotional and powerful 💔
