Already got tickets for their concert on Oct. 11th here in L.A. 🤘😁🍺 Also, when they perform Primo Victoria here in the U.S., they change a couple of lyrics in the song after giving props to our ancestors that landed at Normandy during the D-Day invasion. They change "victory's ours" to "victory's yours". They always put on a quality show. We've been to 3 of their concerts so far, and they've never failed to entertain us. If you're looking for some Sabaton songs set in different time periods, check out: The Red Baron (WW I) 82nd All the Way (WW I) Shiroyama (Medieval Japan) Sparta (The Battle of Thermopylae) Back in Control (The Falklands War) The Attack of the Dead Men (WW I) The Art of War (Sun Tzu) Carolus Rex (Swedish Empire: 30 Years War) Soldier of 3 Armies (Finnish Winter War, WW II, and Vietnam) Blood of Bannockburn (Scottish War of Independence)

I saw them live last month on their Sabaton Open air festival and it was great! They're starting their US tour 4 october. The song The last stand is about the Swiss guard protecting the pope, another great song of theirs.

theit music is themed around military history, from the Battle of Thermoplae (Sparta), The fall of the Samurai (Shiroyama), the sacking of Rome (The last stand), the whole new album is about WW1, they cover the Anglo-Zulu war (Rourke's Drift), The first Iraq War (Pantzer Batallion) and so much more. And yes they have a huge upcoming tour of the US, go get your tickets!

First off, thank you for your service. Much respect to you for what you have done. Second, I love your perspective on things, and thoroughly enjoy your reactions. Keep on keepin on! Third, if you haven't already, look up their song on the last stand of the Samurai. I forget the title, but it is intriguing to say the least. They have also done some covers of other songs like Metallica's For Whom the Bell Tolls, which was written by Metallica and based on the book of the same title by Ernest Hemingway about the Spanish Civil War. They also did one of a song called Twilight of the Thunder God by a band called Amon Amarth. It's not so much a history themed song, but it is still a good listen, especially at the gym or something along that line. Have a great day, friend.

Its probably the best that you checked out the audio only first don't get me wrong the video is absolutely badass but the song can be hard to hear at points do to the tank noises. It is true A LOT of their songs are about WW1 and WW2 they also have songs about Vietnam, desert storm, the last stand of the samurai at Mt. Shiroyama, and even the 7 day war. Someone else I would HIGHLY recommend checking out is Marko Hietala (the bassist and secondary singer for Nightwish) and his solo song "stones"
