Dan Bull man, so good Haiku’s are three line poems with the first and third lines having 5 syllables while the second line has 7 syllables. “Speak in a haiku” (5 syllables) “Got a 300 IQ” (7 syllables) “See what I might do” (5 syllables) So good

Honestly this is probably my fav verse of yours EVER. Mat’s is my favorite of the cypher overall cause of the sheer number of references and me being a massive mephiles fan, but flow and energy wise you _absolutely_ take it for me. And that’s no small feat with how hard _everyone_ was going! And I ESPECIALLY appreciate the reference to Cream and her Chao, Cheese. So yeah, you absolutely turned up the entropy here. Since you don’t really know Mephiles though, here’s a not even full list of Mat’s wordplay to show what I mean: He’s from the future and is basically in a Cell situation where he’s made incomplete so he goes back in time to absorb his other half, which is where “for centuries I've been on the ledge of an experiment” comes from with how he was sealed away in 2 parts. “In the shadow of shadows, I'm underground” is how Mephiles starts out as this being made of pure darkness but possesses Shadow’s shadow for a body which is why he looks a lot like him. “Rapper, the master, spitting flames of disaster” is a reference to his other half Iblis, basically a lava kaiju known as The Flames of Disaster. Mephiles also uses telepathy and so he _literally_ doesn’t “even need to open my mouth” (as well as a cheeky shot at 06’s animation). The aforementioned Iblis is the body of the world-ending sun god Solaris and Mephiles its soul which is what “You've got a one-way ticket to oblivion, Feel the burning sun rays, this kid invented them” is about. And the last line about 06’d is a triple play. There’s the obvious 0-6/six feet under meaning but in the game Mephiles actually DOES succeed in killing sonic and he has to be brought back to life (“Kill the King”) AND Sonic 06 was a game so bad it was decried as the death of the franchise at the time.

As someone who's currently majoring in physics, entropy is quite a bit more complicated than that. While the amount of chaos in an area is certainly a way to describe it, it's more of the chaotic decay. Entropy is basically the reason for the heat death of the universe, if that helps at all. Great line, fantastic delivery, a bit of an oversimplified explanation
