One Ok Rock is known for their live performances. Please check "WE ARE" in Ambitions Japan Dome tour. You mentioned Linkin Park,they supposed to do a tour together, but Chester passed away. Taka (vocalist) is a fan of the LP.

ONE OK ROCK YEY! they've been around since 2005 and yes you're not the only one who thought he has a chester vibe in singing! in fact he is a fan of Linkin Park and they were even supposed to have a collab (they have a pic together!) and for their sound they're pretty versatile, they've tried different kind of rock genres! they're pretty good in ballads to screamo rock. If you want to watch another one with this kind of sound, people usually go for the "We Are live japan dome tour", but if you wanna check out heavier side, "Mighty Long Fall live at Yokohama Stadium", or "Deeper Deeper live at Yokohama Stadium", OR "One By One live at Saitama" they have a lot more but these is what i recommend for starters! for the band members, Frontman- Taka Guitar- Toru (Leader) Bass- Ryota Drums- Tomoya thank you for the reaction btw! 💖

They’re still going strong. In fact they just completed their N. American tour. The latest Luxury Disease album is incredible. You are absolutely right. Their live shows are incredible! I suggest that you start out with Mighty Long Fall (Yokohama live), Cry Out (Ambitions live), and The Beginning (Eye Of The Storm live).

The original version is actually featuring 5 second of summer, and it sound nothing like this. They made it super ballad cus they are really good at it. They are been around since 2005. Taka the vocalist born to be on stage. He is amazing. Talking about Linkin Park you can find the duet on youtube somewhere.

They are reminding you of 2000s rock, bc they are a 2000s rock band 😁 They started on 2005 xd Funny you mention Chester, Linkin Park was one of the OOR mambers inspiration, and they were planed to go on tour with them before Chesters passing. Theyr sound varies, well, after 15 years and 10 albums, they did many rock genres, alt, emo, poppunk etc, all the way to pop. The last album has some classic rock inspirations 😌 They’ve been around, in Japan they seling out 60k stadiums, they have documentary film on Netflix, and they going on tour with Muse and Evanescence next year, they work/are friends with Ed Sheeran, Abra Lavigne, Arnel Pineda, etc xD

I was just listening to this like 20 mins ago and here it is, the reaction. Thanks Cericc! 🤘 Haha the long silence. I so wanted to see what your reaction would be. You handled it well. 😁 I heard this band years ago, I guess it was just bad timing or something because they didn't catch my attention enough to check them out further. A few months ago I saw someone react to "We Are" (same tour, live) and I thought it was really good so I made plans to check them out but I totally forgot about them in my busyness. Then I heard/saw this "Take What You Want" (actual track is just over 4 mins btw) performance in another reaction about a month later and the band not only impressed me again but the song gave me goosebumps, which is rare for me. This is music I can feel. That singer can project emotion like I haven't heard in a while. Now I own their discography and I'm currently making my way through it. So yeah, they're pretty new to me still and I'm enjoying the ride. If it helps at all my collection starts with "Zeitakubyo" which is from 2007 and ends with "Luxury Disease" which came out on Sept 9, 2022. That's 10 studio albums. Apparently they've been active since 2005 according to the interwebs. I've only seen the two mentioned live performances so far. I haven't yet checked out an official video either so anything else would be new to me. It must have been awesome to be there in that concert. It looks epic! I'm glad you enjoy them! 🤗

Lol that was perfect timing on my part then! I definitely wasn't expecting the long silence lol. I definitely agree, it's been a while since I've heard a band with their emotion. They're exactly the sound I've been searching for over the past ~5-6 years. When I saw your recommendation to check them out, I figured you had been a fan for a while, but it's cool that we'll both kind of be on the same journey through their music! Wow, they have more albums than I was expecting! I'm okay with that, though lol. I'll need to make my way through their discography as well. But yeah, I definitely enjoyed this song and can't wait to hear more! Thank you again for suggesting them!

mann Taka's voice is a treasure.. ONE OK ROCK also has heavy rock songs but i love their emotional stuff the most Taka wasn't feeling well in this btw and he even apologized after the concert cause he wasn't satisfied with his vocal performance (which is crazy)

I love how nearly every reactor has made that connection to Chester and Linkin Park, and for good reason! Linkin Park was a huge influence on them and especially on Taka as a frontman and vocalist.
