He is a treasure. This song is also a tribute to his only daughter who died of an illness very young. At the end of the song the horse head fiddle players make the sound of horses neighing with the fiddles. Very cool. Another contestant from this season y’all should check out is Huo Zun. He has a very unique voice and incorporates traditional Chinese opera into pop music. He’s incredible.

Oh no u girls didnt.....first Morissette now Tengri, the MASTER class or TEAM CHINA as some called it....😁 He is a Mongolian descendent but a citizen of China, he wrote this song to bring awareness to his home which is Inner Mongolia,a province situated in NE China & not Mongolia as some had mentioned. The lyrics r simple but the emotions brought a lot of the folks to tears, regardless if one speak Chinese or not. Blue blue sky,clear clear lake water, green green grass land, this is my home. The fine galloping horses,flock of clean white sheep's & there's u my lady, this is my home. I love u my home, my home, my HEAVEN.....love from Houston Tx..👍❤

You should watch the Dimash/Tengri duet of the song "Swan Goose." Tengri invited Dimash to appear as his guest of Singer 2018 when Dimash sang "Hello."

You have to react to Hua Hua's version of Heaven that he adapted!! Tengri sang in the traditional Mongolian singing technique and no I'm not talking about the throat singing which is totally different. The technique that he used compresses the breath and sound and forces it forward and out...It makes it look like he's singing through clenched teeth...The one back stage who was crying it's because he's also of Mongolian descent. And React to Dimash and Tengri in Swan Goose! Soo good!! Love you gals!!!

He was the oldest contestant in 2018. Teresa Carpio, who was on the show with Dimash in 2017, was 64 at the time.

Teresa is only 63 right now -- born in 1956. Very good voice, hugely popular some years back, and a very pleasant person from what I've seen of her.

Thank you, again, for reacting to another one of my suggestions. I knew you ladies would love this. Hua Hua's reaction was pure amazement of how the original singer intended this song to be. Hua Hua's cover had a completely different vibe compared to Tengri's.
