Love, love, love, what your darling daughter said @ 4:47. I've been screaming this from the hill tops whenever someone compares the ANIMATED movies to live action. I've said this a bunch of time but sea life with humanoid faces, in a live action remake would be terrifying to look at let alone have a conversation with.

At this point, I don't even care what the adults think about these remakes. I want to know what the kids think about them. As for this 44 year old guy, I will be there opening day with an extra large bucket of popcorn watching on the biggest screen I can find!❤

Man, when your daughter said that they are going to look different because they are live action animals, it let me know that some people get it. It's a story about a mermaid who makes a deal with a sea witch to give up her voice in exchange for legs so she can go learn more about people. The talking crab is what threw you off? Lol....

I think it's just a little jarring compared to the very emotive faces of the animated version. ie... Lion King - Lion King. But that's the way they've decided to move forward so we, and I, just need to get on board - Sean

Yeah, I definitely get that. I'm kinda where you are. I've accepted that live-action talking animals are gonna look a little goofy in these adaptations. It is what it is...lol.

Halle Bailey is visually STUNNING . Also, Halle Bailey is not only an extraordinary vocalist but a multi-instrumentalist (2-3 instruments), writer, composer, actor and seemingly all-ariund great human being.

Yeah I wish the hair was little bit more brighter red because of thing for redheads by heart that’s not red by heart to me that’s my only small knitpick but after coming out of the theater for 2018 aquaman I was like if the technology for underwater scenes were that decent imagine what Disney could do with the little mermaid and here we are

Her hair appears redder depending on the lighting. That’s the best we’ll get & I actually like the more natural style + certain lighting that changes the shade of it.
