This is a reaction video comparing two versions of the same song "Bend Me, Shape Me". The song is written by 2 members of The Outsiders and recorded in 1966 for their album "The Outsiders In". Covered by The American Breed in 1967, it became a number 5 hit on Billboards HOT 100 Singles chart in 1968. Which is the better version; you be the judge!

Both deserve acknowledgement: The Outsiders for its composition; TheAmericanBreed for recognizing its potential and raising it to the next level -a top-98 Billboard Hit for1968! I don't think the original would've done much if released as a single.But nonetheless have 2 top5 hits to their credit!

Hi Larry ... Great review of the two versions of the song. I enjoyed both but The Outsiders just didn't have the hook that The American Breed added making it radio friendly. Thanks ....

Love the American breed version, other was good but definitely not the same. Would have been great if both versions were a hit
