I hate it when he says that. Why are there concerns in the first place with PTX?
@philipem10003 жыл бұрын
@@cherylholtom9455 Well when he first started making these he had no idea who PTX was and I think it started out with his voicing realistic concerns about whether he would like acapella, since it's not in his forte, and whether they could do justice to something like Daft Punk for example. And if you don't know PTX that is perfectly reasonable. And it has progressed i think to the point that it's a sort of a trademark (as my comment notes), he says it in every video and I think we know at this point he knows them so well he doesn't really have concerns...

If anyone ever questioned whether Scott could back up the bass when either Avi or Matt took the lead, that was answered in the first five seconds of this song. Glad to see you back. Your reactions have always been my favorite. There are so many new songs for you to react to. Pentatonix has been prolific even during the pandemic. I’ll be annoying and offer some suggestions, as if everyone else wasn’t doing the same. Blinding Lights - A The Weekend cover that highlights Kevin’s talents that just brightens my day. This was recorded from their individual homes and the video editing is brilliant. Papaoutai - A cover of French singer Stromae that’s done in French. Lindsey Stirling collaborates on this as well as Kevin’s cello. Scott carries the weight with the lyrics and you don’t have to know French to enjoy this extremely clever video. You’re A Mean One Mr. Grinch - as the holidays approach, this features Matt and he owns it. Can You Feel The Love Tonight - This cover of the song from The Lion King is beautiful both visually and artistically. There are a lot more but this is enough for now. Again welcome back. You’ve been missed.

Said a prayer for you, friend. Thanks for mentioning Matt. He had such huge shoes to fill but instead of filling Avi’s shoes he made his own place in the group. His youth, energy, joy, and love for Pentatonix make him the perfect man for the job. He didn’t replace Avi, he joined the group and has made it so good!! It’s always hard to see a beloved member of a group leave but why blame it on the “new guy” (who’s been there for years now)? It’s not Avi vs. Matt. It was Avi and now it’s Matt. Poor guy! He doesn’t deserve all that heat!

Everyone is so glad you are back. Hope you are well but we will find out soon. I have made a declaration that people who complain about pausing are absolutely not pentaholic's. Feel free anyone to correct if I'm wrong. We want your reaction. If you played it twice in a row, I don't think true pentaholics would be upset. More importantly is that the new EP videos and the brand new official video for their first original video in 5 years, Sony has been blocking them left and right. So if you don't pause and Rewind then it will for sure get blocked.

Hehe You picked a PERFECT song to come back on ... I love how it floored you.. The true mark of a great group is the ability to adapt as the dynamic changes... While I would LOVE to see Pentatonix and Avi get together for a project, I enjoy Matt in the group. I enjoyed Avi's time in PTX and LOVE what he is doing on his own. I don't think we would have ever gotten to hear this side of Avi if he would have stayed with the group. I'm also a Home Free fan, and they went through a similar transition. Their music changed in a good way too.

And yes, sometimes I can't tell who is singing when Mitch and Kirstie are singing background together. They can really sound the same if they want to!!!

I love all their stuff. In the past, I've noted that she seemed to do mostly backup & it kinda bothered me that the only girl was pushed back like that. But, lately, she is getting more front time (since Matt joined? Don't know why that would be connected). I really appreciate the power she has to front the guys so well with that crystal clear voice.

We love it when you pause. If we want to see it unbroken, we would watch the original. We watch you to get your opinions and observations of the songs.Your insights are what makes watching you so informative. Please feel free to pause when you have one of your great insights.

Yay!! Good to see you. Don't worry about the pausing, you are making great comments, letting us hear what you are hearing... Your excitement in what you are hearing is why I watch yours and other's reactions. I can just go over to the original if I want to watch it uninterrupted, which I do from time to time. I have commented before, on other's reactions, that this very song, is when I started thinking of Matt as the 6th member of Pentatonix, before this he was the guy who stepped in when Avi left. This is the song, for me and from what I have seen many others, this was the song that cemented Matt as part of the group. Do I miss Avi, sometimes, but I don't think of it as one is better than the other, just a bit different. Avi, helped pick Matt for the group, and I think he did just fine. My concerns are gone!!! Didn't realize how much I had missed that... Still want a beanie with that on it. By the way, no idea and frankly none of my business with what has been going on for you, during the hiatus, but you seem to be a bit happier, and smile more now. Welcome back.

Welcome back, you were missed. I just wanted to say that Avi was instrumental in finding and choosing Matt to replace him in Pentatonix, so he got a big stamp of approval before we all met him. I miss Avi, too, but I love Matt's unique voice. Waiting for your next video....... :)
