Metallica are FOUR professional musicians for over 40 years , including TWO GUITARISTS . The Warning are just THREE teenagers with seven years career behind them ( and very big future in front to come !!!! ) and they sound almost like the originals : that's what I call INSANE TALENT . MINDBLOWING ! PS : the bass player's name is Ale ( Alejandra ) , 15 years old .

Dani doesn't get half the recognition she deserves, she is an incredibly technically talented and hardworking guitarist, doing the rythm plus lead playing but also vocals as well. People always mention how amazing Pau is at the drums, and how great Ale is on the bass, and while they are all brilliant, this cover, I feel really lets Dani shine, its a good insight into how really busy she is multi tasking throughout all of their songs.

Did you see the energy with which they attacked that song? It's worth noting this was the end of a 2 hour set, the 23rd song they played that night. They played 22 originals and closed with this cover. I was there, my first time seeing them and it was a life changing night for me. I saw them at dinner after the show, and they were wiped out. They left it all out there on that stage, and they do that every single time they play.

I think she sometimes gets overlooked bc Pau is so animated and a beast in drums. I mean, Ale is probably the most commonly overlooked, I think bc she’s so good that it blends right in. Anyways, Dany’s job if playing both rhythm and lead that proficiently and with that bad ass attitude- I couldn’t Keri my eyes off her

It's a great cover, but to those commenting that they're better than Metallica at their own song, that Metallica should open for them, etc, I ask: have you even heard the original? I would encourage you to do so, studio and live versions. I have no problem if people say you like this version more than the original, it's only when implying that Metallica doesn't hold a candle to The Warning based on this performance that I think is a bit much. I think we can praise and enjoy one or hopefully both bands without denigrating the other (especially when one is on their way to being legendary, and the other has been legendary for a long time and is still going strong). My 2 cents as a huge fan of both.
@krash664 жыл бұрын
Point well taken. I've been a Metallica fan since "Kill'm All", and I've seen them live at least three times. They are legends. However, when the four of them were in high school and middle school, I doubt they could have pulled off this performance... Just throwing you a new perspective. Two High school girls and and a Middle school girl just KILLED a song by a FOUR piece band of Legends. Not to mention writing Two full albums before the oldest was 18. When Dany hits 40 (in 2040), let's see who has the better body of work (stopping Metallica in 2003, when James turned 40). Also considering, they are two different genres. My 2 cents also. I am a fan of both.

darchon5 don't get too excited. The people who are saying that didn't know the song until The Warning or didn't like it until The Warning, or they are in the biggest group who are just having fun gushing over a group they like and aren't actually serious.
@darchon54 жыл бұрын
@@krash66 It's not a "new perspective" - everyone knows The Warning started very early and what they've achieved up to now is amazing. And yes, they started much younger than Metallica, who didn't pick up their instruments until ages 12-15 and recorded their first album together at 19-21. But I thought you said "point well taken", so why make it a competition? It's just unnecessary. It creates mammoth expectations for them while also somewhat downplaying Metallica's achievements (Why stop at age 40? You do realize Metallica's accomplished more since then). But if you want to compare receipts in 20 years, or you want to compare full career receipts in 40-45 years, go right ahead.
@darchon54 жыл бұрын
@@markbell4017 Nobody's getting too excited, just pointing out something that you seem to agree with: it appears that quite a few here don't know the original, and I just wish they heard both versions before making such declarative statements. We don't know how serious they are or not, so I think it'd be nice if someone has actually listened to an original song before writing it off as not being as good as a cover, call me crazy.
@_JD..JD_4 жыл бұрын
@darchon5 Get your point too. Also grew up with a daily extra dose of Metallica. Some of us get carried away by The Warning, exactly because their carry the torch slowly being transfer by Metallica to younger generations. We get a bit excited over the fact that The Warning in more in tune with the 70's and 80's hard rock/metal that we grew up with. Actually (as you probably already know) both group have respect for one another: The Warning first viral video was a cover of Enter Sandman (because their father and the girls were already Metallica fans - among others). Metallica saw the video and posted it on their website so much they liked it. Kirk Hammett posted on Twitter that "The drummer... (age 12 at the time)... kicked maximum ass!". The girls get back to Metallica as one of their influences. What I think we are saying is that they have a bright future and hopefully they will give us something just as great as Metallica stuff to listen to. Right now they are on the right path for sure. I like both this version (3-piece) and the Metallica version - just different. What would have been great is to have both bands one day playing a concert together. The Killers, Def Leppard, Stryper, etc... have already done so, so it would be amazing to close the circle with a gig with Metallica. Glad you are a fan of both; so am I. Cheers!

Don't get me wrong. And like I said some day maybe great. Also my opinion of them being good or great is my opinion. Like I stated opinions can't be wrong. I've listened to them . sorry they just havnt impressed me or grabbed me yet. Maybe someday they will ..or maybe never. Totaly respect them. I played in a high school band. Way back. We played songs way more technical then they do. So maybe that's why I'm not impressed. I know the difference between good and great and amazingly hard to play. I play guitar and bass and drums. So I have a good idea. Anyways. Not here to argue. Hope you have a great day and do and listen to whatever makes you happy. Peace.

Hmmm you don't think Dany has the perfect voice for a rock band. But you think Pau has a great voice. It's okay for male singers to not have great voices but female singers should have great voices. That's quite hypocritical of you. That's why I pulled my subscription.

The vocal are drowned out? WTF is wrong with you? This performance of the video you chose is fine. What were you expecting? Studio level vocals? Puhleeze. You are nitpicking. Stop with that silliness.
