About 3200 seat capacity and they sold-out two shows at the venue (on Friday and the following Monday). Until their recent concerts at Pabellon M in Monterrey (4500) and the Pepsi Center in Mexico City (8000), this was their largest venue they had ever performed in as a headliner. So, yeah, it was a huge deal for them. Plus the venue is a historic theater where it is considered an honor for an artist to perform.

According to information, I was told by people who were there. You're extremely close to being correct. The Pabellon M upper decks were not used. So the attendance was closer to 2500 or 3000, but it was extremely special for them to have such a big audience in their hometown.

Inspired by a Netflix docuseries, Unnatural Selection, which is about gene editing and humans getting involved in their own evolution. Their sound is created through Dany’s pedal board which can duplicate and triplicate her guitar in different octaves each with different effects. They speak better English than many native speakers, but Spanish is their native language. They get along well and are each other’s best friends. They value family very highly.

You should see them do this song at the MTV VMA 2023. Smaller venue, up close and in your face. So close they could reach out and touch the crowd. Most of the crowd never heard of them and came to see the other acts. Watch them blow the roof off the place. Pau the drummer took control of the crowd. The only act to get it right on one take, earning the admiration and respect of the director and the crowd!

They don't have the tension that any normal family has. They are all best friends and get along incredibly. When someone asked Ale (bass) who her favorite singers were, she replied, "My sisters," without hesitation. All three routinely make similar statements. So they're nearly unique among family artists. And they've been playing together since nearly kindergarten, so they have a psychic connection they've called sibling magic. They don't have any weak links. Three weeks before their two 2022 Teatro Metropolitan concerts... their tour with Halestorm and The Pretty Reckless went to Phoenix. That show was the first of that tour where The Warning, The Pretty Reckless and Halestorm all played together at an indoor venue having no natural light*. So, for the first time on that tour, the lighting was entirely in control of the lighting director. I attended that concert and as my friend and I left the building, we both commented on how impressed we were with the lighting. I guess The Warning's management were at least as impressed; they hired the lighting director from that Phoenix concert to direct the lighting for them at both Teatro Metropolitan shows.

@@zonachoke The Halestorm Tour was one of the shows I saw TheWarning at last year.Pretty Reckless wasnt there because Taylor had covid.Big outdoor venue but they only had enough to fill the Ampitheater because a storm rolled through right before the first of 3 bands were scheduled to go on.The real cool thing it was in my hometown so I had been to many shows over the years there before.

This was the show closer. What a way to end the night. They are so good live. Hella noise for only three of them. For me the vocals call back to the BeeGees and The Andrews Sisters. They use them so effectively as an additional instrument where other bands might put a keyboard. This theater was about 3000 seats. They totally rocked it. I have seen them in a small club of 200, and last month with 8000 in Mexico City. Their shows are amazing no matter the size of the venue.

They have a secret weapon in their sound man Lalo. He is a real 'mixologist' because their live sound is HUGE but beautifully balanced. Pau's kick drum and Ale's bass rig shake the building but are in perfect sonic harmony. Also Pau's snare drum tone has that perfect pop that cuts thru the mix. Dany holds it all together with her pure talent. They are awesome!

I was there at the Metropolitan, together with my wife and my (then) 6 yo daugther. It was just sick. We had such a wonderful time - many families like us around as well, and also many old rockers. Only great musicians can speak to so many generations. If you can attend one concert f'ng DO IT. I'm serious.

You guys are fun to watch. With the questions you were asking about their "tension" behind the scenes, I highly recommend that you watch one of their interview videos. They are very engaging and well-spoken (it's in English). A great one to start with is called "The Warning Tidal Rising documentary" - check it out, you'll learn a lot about the ladies in the band and have a lot of viewers watching along with you.

They are besties as well as sisters, but they have said that they do argue a lot when writing (they have also been known to fight when playing video games), because they each have strong opinions and want what's best. But they understand that it's all because each of them wants what's best for the song. They are not interested in showing off on stage at the expense of the others. If Dany plays a solo, it's because that's what's right for the song, not because Dany wants to show off. When Lzzy Hale presented Dany with a guitar on stage, Ale and Pau had huge smiles on their faces, very happy for their older sister. Vocals are absolutely a strong suit of theirs, with two full fledged lead singers (although Dany sings about 80% of the leads) and the third sister (Ale) being an excellent backing singer who simply does not enjoy singing lead. The most recent professional recording, at the MTV VMAs, has Ale's mic level higher so her low harmony in the chorus is much more present. It's part of how they thicken the sound; Dany has a lot of guitar tricks, such as splitting, time shifting, and selective octave thickening too, and they make very judicious use of backing tracks. Disciple, which you've already seen, is a great example of Dany and Pau sharing lead vocals within a song. Pau is ordering the crowd to put their hands up; at the VMA, she obviously did this in English. When Pau issues her orders, you obey. If you don't, Pau will find you and write a song about you. There's a stage video from them opening for Muse in the UK, at the Milton Keynes Bowl which is a natural amphitheatre. When Pau ordered everyone's hands up, and the video panned over the crowd, everyone's hands were up and clapping. This venue, Teatro Metropolitan (Metropolitan Theater, in Mexico City) actually was previously a theater that is now used more for concerts. It's a mid-large venue, about 3500 capacity. It (actually, two concerts three days apart) was their biggest headlining show to date, and they knew it, and delivered. They have eclipsed that with a 4500 capacity (sold out) in Monterrey and then 8000 (again, sold out) at the Pepsi Center in Mexico City.

Saw them in a small theater in Atlanta in May (like less than 1,000 people) and this was the encore. Have it on my phone from the balcony. Watch and listen every day. You are correct, the sound they put out bouncing around that small space was incredible

They worked with producer David Bendeth on the Error album. Dany and Ale use his amp simulations in their programmable pedal boards, and that is a lot of where the "big sound" comes from. Reverb, delay, stereo imaging from delay... They work smart. This is the tenth anniversary of the band. This was after two EPs and three albums were recorded, and they had been playing tour schedules all over for months and months. It's on their home turf, in Mexico City, at 7300 feet above sea level! Imagine Pau playing drums and singing at that altitude. She trains by singing on a treadmill! These kids are from another planet or something.

@8:00 Where you say she was tuning her guitar during the song -- that's actually the magic of video editing; the editor had inserted a wide shot "cutaway" from another moment in time to ease the visual transition from the previous shot @7:57 (a medium shot taken from behind the drummer, Paulina) and the subsequent shot @8:02 (a medium closeup of Paulina imploring the crowd to make noise). In that "cutaway", you see Daniela (the guitarist) standing still directly behind her microphone stand and Alejandra (the bassist) standing still (and mostly upright) on the center-stage side of her microphone stand. If you look at unedited footage from the 29-August-2022 concert (kzbin.info/www/bejne/m33MpZmqgb6bpqs -- approx. 2:10-2:19) you see that Daniela is jumping all over the stage clapping her hands and waving to add to Paulina's ovation to the crowd. And Alejandra is two steps on the other side of that same microphone stand -- and goes from standing upright to a crouch.

Regarding their awesome vocals, you will find that siblings almost always produce superior harmonies. There is something in the genetics in the voices that creates tones that are incredibly compatible. Regarding family, if you watch the documentary such as the making of mayday or tidal rising, You will hear them say that their success is all about family. They have their disagreements at times but they're cohesiveness as a family is what has brought them to the top

The Warning include their manager and crew plus their parents in their work family. All major actions concerning shows, tours , promotions , videos and contracts etc are all made by The band ,parents and manager together . The music it is the sisters when writing and perfecting the songs. The band plus the producer when recording. But the band is totally involved with all aspects. Even contracts and artistic aspects in videos and shows. They also fans think of the fans as family. And it color the choices they make. Seems to work very well for them

one thing that really i like about this particular concert at Teatro Metropolitian (2022) and the footage from it is that you can see Pau preparing herself for an iconic part of this song... there is a camera looking at her from beneath the cymbals on her right... watch Pau closely... you can see her looking down, taking a deep breath, shaking her head, and firing her immensely powerful "Scream of Evolution" toward the heavens to release her frustrations and pain so she can *Evolve* 😜... it is one of the best views of this action she does while drumming as passionately as she does... she brings it for real each and every time they present this hard rocking power ballad in concert or live sessions... Fun Fact: Pau has three screams/yells that she does... the first, most well known, one in *Evolve* , one in *Z* , and the other in *Hunter* ... Fun Fact: during soundchecks, she's been known to use a much less powerful "Waaaaaaaaaa!" instead of "The Scream"... gotta save that scream for use at the proper times, ya know? LOL TWA ⚡🤘😸🤘⚡ TWA

Woke up at 3am the other day to catch a concert online from Japan and during one song the fans were given permission to record and on the screen behind the band the giant screen said "Shooting can now begin" or something to that affect and at the end of the song the screen said "shooting time has now ended". The Warning sisters are fans of this band.

At some point or another I have gotten fixated on every song on Error. 23 is for a different mood, Revenent and Breathe live are just immensely different. Pau recently did Breathe live for the first time but didn't make it quite through almost, the crowd singing for her made her break down in tears. In the vein of Disciple and Evolve I would say Z especially for the short solo. Dany doesn't like solos that much as the music is about all of them, not her but yeah she can shred.

I'm old and before smart phones you couldn't bring any cameras or audio recording devices into a concert. They would search you and take those things. Double edged sword there. Everyone was engaged with the show but we love to watch what others recorded.

I think their Dad is their manager, and I believe many family members travel with them, and even nonrelated crew are like family. Also, I think they all 3 split the royalties 1/3 each, which is where most bands go sideways. Might be a bit more complicated given Ale just turned 18. Also, contrary to popular belief, none of The Ramones were actually related.

Not being allowed to record is not a thing only a Japan. In fact most concerts I've seen in Canada and the USA were not even allowing cell phones. A band even walked off the stage when the singer noticed someone with a phone in the crowd.

The Warning just dropped a new song and it’s “S!CK” Please check it out. It was recorded at the same time as More. Inspired by their music producer, Anton Delost, calling everything sick. Rudy, their manager, produced the video. Ivan, their videographer, directed and shot the video. Their maturity, experience and artistic evolution are truly evident in this release. Our ladies are displaying how they won’t be pigeonholed in any way. I love this release, both the music and the artistic representation. What can you say beyond THIS IS S!CK. Also, the Drumeo Rock Drummer of the year for 2023 was announced on 1/25/24, and the winner was PAULINA VILLARREAL of The Warning

You talked about filming concerts and having to remember. When I start going to the concerts in the 70s . And going to concerts in the 80s you couldn't even take a camera in. You had to remember them which I still remember most of the shows I went to for all those years that you could not record. Put your phone down and watch the show nobody cares that your recording the show

i remembering having to get special press passes for our four man team to take cameras into concerts to take live photos... three of us would lock our arms together in a triangle with our feet together... the fourth guy would climb in the middle of us and stand on our knees and thighs taking photos from above the crowd... at one concert, we were nicely and calmly moved forward by the crowd around us till we were right up front at the retaining wall in front of the stage... got a lot of great photos that night! it was a blast!
