There seems to be some confusion about what population I was referring to when I said let's put the views of Enter Sandman 2014 into perspective. Wasn't talking about just NYC. I was talking about the entire NYC metro area. According to NYC itself, that equals 23 million. The video now has 25 million views. So, everyone within the metro area of New York City and the city itself could have watched their video with 2 million views left over. Not bad! The key from my perspective for why they succeeded so well and connected so deeply with their fan base while crowd-funding their first albums is how authentic, vulnerable, gracious and charming they were on social media - not to mention that they are so very talented and hard-working. That kind of sincerity and effort cannot be faked.

Yes, Ale was definitely assigned the origin story task at some point this year 😂. We don’t always get these in the order they were recorded but there seemed a clear 180 after that German interview in April. It’s a good idea, they know EVERYONE asks it, she knows the other 2 won’t step on her speaking, she can have it scripted so she doesn’t have to put it together on the fly & gives her a warmup to get more comfortable with the interviewer(s) & their style. As a fellow introvert, it’s the getting started that’s the hardest part.

Would love you to do an interview! I think your musical knowledge would challenge them! (just don't do classical music with Pau!). Just an aside, my granddaughter played harp for 2 years, until her teacher moved/retired, and there was no one to take her place! Your comments about crowd-funding and why it was successful for them, are spot on! I think you're right, Glenn, Dany has stories! As far as the next album......Glenn, again, you are spot on about it......I just hope they don't rush.....I hope they work more....together! I couldn't be more passionate about that! If you get another channel.....I'm there!

Yes for the new channel! I appreciate your and Adrian’s perspective as musicians and aficionados! I think most of the interviews I watch are not from a musicians perspective with the exception of Rick Beato and he is obviously a multi-instrumentalist and his niche is legendary bands. Although so far I think Allison Hagendorf has had the best interviews for a non musician, she’s great. I enjoy your insight and your depth of knowledge! All the best!

Part of the Error crowdfunding was a concert anywhere for people who gave certain levels of donation. That's how the Private UK Concert came about. It was organized by Matthew Fraser and OG UK fan.

think alot of the songs they made in the past usually had some lines or lyrics from years before. Apolegize is a good example as Pau said that some parts of that was written in 2015. and for keep me fed they wrote many songs not all made it so got a head start for next album maybe if they tweek them a little

Great reaction Glenn! Thank you! Por cierto, esperando saber sobre ese nuevo canal.

I don't know how much crowdfunding went into the Error album. I think all or most of the songs were already written when they signed with Lava, but the recording was almost entirely after they signed. The crowdfunding absolutely helped them get to that point. Their Mayday EP was released first, and all those songs were included on Error. The pandemic put their planned first big tour on hold and dragged on. The Warning was not a fulltime touring band until after everything began returning to normal, so they had plenty of time to work on writing/composing. Keep Me Fed is the first album they have produced with the time constraints imposed by a tour schedule.

I don't know for sure but I remember in their Sunday reveal they said they would not have gotten to New York to play the Mercury Lounge without the Patrons. Maybe they used that crowdfunding to get to New York and meet Jason Flum.

Thanks Glen, really enjoyed this interview.. whole heartedly agree that these Ladies are way to talented to be pushed into cranking out albums by the Label... we all want Quality and not Quantity from them. Hope that is how it will go. I am sure they will have a lot to say...not shy at all about what they want in their career.... Like Pau said in a round about way, need to stop and smell the roses once in a while. Cheers. BTW, a channel with just BTS, Vlogs, Interviews would be very welcome...hard to keep up with all that. Like the idea.

In one of their documentaries or blogs, Pau stated that she has over 500 voice notes on her phone and now she says she doesn't even know what most of those notes are about. What she has is lyrics, riffs, song ideas, etc. She could have a lot of diamonds in those notes. I'm betting Pau is still recording ideas for songs while touring. My favorite performance of a Spanish song is Pau up front singing Narcisista. That was so entertaining, anytime I see a reaction of that song I have to listen.

Most of us would agree Pau has hundreds of song ideas in her head and written down so its not like they have to start from scratch its just making up their minds which ones to actually make official and which new ones from the most recent experiences they have gone through being a band being on the road and traveling to all these different countries.I would expect 2025 new music getting officially done and new lp IN 2026 wouldn't surprise me.

If you can get to the point where you sound good and get your point across on an acoustic guitar, the 'letrical gee-tar is a snap because you don' have all the crutch's like with an electric guitar where you can alter and modify your sound.

Like TW, FTF have just launched their second crowdfunding section to finance their lets-go-vinyl release. The first installment was to finance their first EP. It's a pretty cool way to get somewhere when you are independent. Glenn, regarding your question about whether I'd be one who check your YT interview podcast channel - yes, and I'd return if the content had my interest :o)

So Glenn. Let's put this in perspective of the number of views of Enter Sandman. Currently: 25M views. You can easier add in another 5M to 10M if you add in the total number of views that reactors generated on their reaction videos. But I do agree with you that reactors should split their views count with the creator of the video their reacting too. On a side note. Is Adrian doing fine?? Plus did he get the jab & boosters for Covid?? I didn't get not shots. Tested twice for Covid. Had to take a test & pass it to see The Warning in 2022 (M&G / Show - Warning were wearing masks for M&G). I'm not in good shape & careful when I'm about (distance). I never caught Covid. Just asking.

You dont rob them of anything if you are playing it on KZbin. The band gets the credit as long as you are not hiding in some manner that is The Warning. They get the revenue and the spin so to speak. They dont block or issue copywrite strikes. They correctly see that the reaction is a promotion. Only if you are hiding your content use is it stealing from the band. You should rot in hell for that. I wont continue on channels i see doing this type of subterfuge.
