What I love about this performance is that Ben only came on the show just to sing with him. All the other guests artist sung with two Idols but Ben just performed with Alejandro. He said that he heard Alejandro in his family record store and had to come out from the back room to see who it was. Mind blowing

I used to be an accompanist, and some of the younger performers I worked with would often beat themselves up when nerves got the best of them during a performance. I used to say that music teachers usually teach us scales and technique, and we know it takes time to learn all that, but we almost never get told that learning to perform in public also takes time. It's a process in itself...
