Brittney Dawn comes to mind, the state of Texas is suing her for ripping off people on personalized exercise and diet plans. It all seems like one long commercial. I’ve notice how Alex often says “ They upgraded our room” when she travels. I’ve literally never had this happen which leads me to believe she immediately tells the hotel she is an influencer and gets price reductions and/or upgrades in exchange for an endorsement from her. She hardly ever has anything negative to say about a hotel, even the ugly ones. Why would she care about misleading her followers though as long as she has benefitted? Hasn’t minded so far.

I believe that is why when she vacations without her family, she only eats as the food is most likely part of the free in exchange for media attention, that is why all the food is spoken highly of. Good points I didn’t even think of - it’s such an over-saturated industry now (the “social media influencer” one) that large scale businesses would have to start putting their foot down. It’s one thing when she visits and makes special mention of boutique and small businesses - such as that country store she visited during Vlogmas (I think!) - and they ended up writing her a comment to thank her for the shoutout - one can accept that. But hotels and restaurants would be getting to a point of saying get f’d to these obnoxious personalities who come along and expect a free handout. That’s how you lose money and gain very little in return, don’t blame them!

@@georgieru2010 Saturated is the perfect description. One of the most damaging aspects this social media influencer is the unwarranted self importance. They are treated well just because they have a following and word of mouth is just as powerful as it has ever been. I do believe that they are being set up to fail unless they are preparing for their future. I couldn’t imagine interviewing for a 9-5 Job when your work experience consists of uploading videos of yourself for the last dozen years. As well as those same videos being available for potential employers to see. Alex utilizing her full name on her social media platforms, means anywhere she goes, from Hotels to Doctor Offices to her in-laws, they have an insight into her life at their fingertips. I believe this is what causes her social anxiety. Especially due to her being the focus of so many reaction channels. She has a hard road ahead of her if she doesn’t make a turnaround soon. Some actually due move on to bigger and better businesses and some end up broke with very few life skills.

I’ve been a housekeeper for many years and let me tell you I’ve got a few stories. Some people think they are so entitled when they come and stay at hotels it’s maddening. At the hotel I worked at we had a few celebrities stay and football players too when they came for training and surprisingly they never once acted the way Alex acts and other entitled people act. Some of the housekeepers I worked with would “ get a person back” if they trashed the room every day while staying and were just rude overall. One popular example of this was after they cleaned the toilet they would use that same rag to clean the coffee maker and clean the light switches to with that rag also. One housekeeping used to say “ just keep it clean and we won’t get mean”

Alex is not healthy. Any doctor she goes to will see that she has been doctor shopping. She utilizes her full name on social media I am sure they are careful how and what they say. Alex also hears what she wants. The body positivity movement has coddled the obese people. She admits to difficulty breathing and her knees hurting how she doesn’t believe those are signs of poor health is wild. When I was overweight my doctor ran basic test, told me “your round as a barrel and healthy as a horse”. True story. I also didn’t need to be told that being overweight was not desirable and would cause serious problems down the road. The doctor also recommended I lose weight, as any good doctor should.

Alex is missing a huge market where she could really be a positive influencer. Today she is shilling a bottle of face spray in an orange bottle that cost $28 for just a couple of ounces. The active ingredient is something called hypochlorous, which is just an anti-bacterial agent. They use it in hospitals. She could get multiple gallons of it for just a penny per ounce, meanwhile, she is paying and asking her audience to pay multiple dollars per ounce. If she really wanted to be a positive influence, she could simply investigate active ingredients in the products that she purchases and teach people how to be savvy ingredient readers. I know she’s not going to do this because it wouldn’t be financially beneficial for her if her audience didn’t spend lots of money on her affiliate links. But I hate to see people wasting so much money on these ridiculously overpriced products that are just simple ingredients, marketed to an uneducated audience.

This "dairy free" experiment she's doing is only gonna pack on more weight & blow up in her face. All she did was buy vegan CHEESES, like seriously 5 different kinds, along with vegan Mac n cheese, vegan pizza & more bread, pasta & CARBS!!!! Every time Alex restricts her food intake or tries to hack her way through a program she gains what weight if any she loses plus some. Her approach is off, she is angry others can eat dairy for instance and not have terrible acne. She fights against her individual system. When I realized my hormones changing along with dairy caused cystic acne I dropped all dairy. Didn’t buy alternatives, just dropped it. I went to almond milk for coffee cream, that was it. She is doing this half a$$ed show of “not eating dairy” to prove it isn’t what is causing her acne so people will stop commenting about it. She is passive aggressively saying it’s not the dairy.

Honestly Alex is so uncultured and vapid she can’t imagine anything is more interesting to see than her. My sons and I enjoy American history and all things ghostly and travel to Gettysburg from the DC area about twice a year. You would love it. So much history and the battlefield is huge. You can see re-enactments and do tours. I would also highly recommend Salem Massachusetts. Beautiful, quirky town that really leans into their macabre history. Be careful if you go in October though it’s like their Mardi Gras. Northeast Coast lady here and highly recommend paying us a visit. PS Philly is beautiful and the people are so down to earth. Way more to see than what she showed but then you’d have to KNOW history to show it.

Gettysburg is an amazing place to visit, the tour guides are also historians so the information you learn is amazing. I am a horse girl and a couple times a year we go there and ride the trails. My husband is a civil war re enactor and does many events there. They dress in authentic uniforms ( wool ) and spends every first week in July doing historical re-enactments at Gettysburg. ( I don’t, July in Gettysburg is hot as heck and it’s my busy time with horse shows). I highly recommend it! The park also has horses that are available for guests to view the grounds as well. You have to reserve WAY in advance because the horses only do so many rides a season and they are privately owned. If you have never been on a horse, they have several that ANYONE can climb on and have a very good time and be safe. You won’t see Alex there, they have a strict weight limit. It used to be 275, but it may be lower during the summer. And you can’t wear bike shorts, Uggs, tank tops and bras are highly recommended 😂 My only problem with Gettysburg is outside the grounds it has become very commercial with some tacky strip malls. That’s where you would find Alex. But the downtown is very historical and has some very nice, local shops. Great reaction!

I am from right around Gettysburg! I 100% recommend visiting, esp if you're into history and any sort of paranormal stuff. They have lots of ghost tours and little museums and stuff. I've experienced quite a bit there. Also recommend eating at Dobbin House if you do go! It's the cutest little historic type tavern. I think you'd really enjoy Gettysburg!

They crossed over Benjamin Franklin bridge their on market st facing city hall and reading terminal market is too the right side of corner of city hall. On market st is constitution hall and liberty bell then Betsy Ross house in a block or two away. They missed some of the best food at reading terminal and they could've went to the mutter museum and maybe take a walk down jewelers row.

I lived in Philly for 10 years. If you recall the video where she goes up in Liberty Place to see the view, I lived there when that was built and could see it go up from my office window. Before that, nothing could be taller than William 'Billy' Penn's hat, on the top of City Hall. That's a major bit of tourist info (as would knowing the the name of the big friggin river you're crossing if you're driving into town), and she knows nothing. Center City Philly (the downtown area) is very walkable. It looks like she didn't see much of the historical area - the part of Philly with major historical significance regarding the founding of the country. Jeez. Mad props to Yar, though, for hitting the Rocky steps at the Museum of Art (another place she didn't go). I'm not from the South, but I imagine it would be extremely irritating to hear people affect a Southern or country accent while making fun of people at a fair. Just sayin'.

I realize everyone is different and I favor sweets, chocolate to donuts however the realization of what eating them does is enough for me to limit them. I’m not perfect, I have my faults, interesting to me. Yar being an avid runner and visibly a healthy weight I really thought that would make it easier for her to lose her extra pounds and keep it off. Not to mention all the time in the day, financial means, insurance, and support. I wonder if her mom restricted her food when she was younger and the fear followed her to adult hood? I’m chatty😁

I’m a Jersey girl through and through but I’ve never once said that the rest stops in Jersey are poppin’. 🤣🤣 They are busy due to the location and the amount of travelers that come through so of course they are bigger but poppin, not so much. I wonder what her actual definition of poppin is because she misuses words often for whatever reason. She’s the same age as my oldest son but the similarities are nonexistent. 🤷🏻‍♀️ I’ve been to Gettysburg twice, once as a kid and then I went back in my 30’s to see if my experience would be different as someone who believed at that time due to a few experiences I myself had shortly after my mom passed away when I was 16. The first time I went, I was only 10 and neither of my parents believed in that type of stuff even after attending a ghost hunt in Gettysburg. They didn’t bring us kids along for that experience so my aunt stayed with us while my parents went on the hunt. My older sister also didn’t believe in paranormal activity until she went away to college for her masters degree where her and 5 other sorority sisters rented out a very old and extremely creepy house in western Pennsylvania. They were told prior to renting that place why they got such a good deal but none of them believed what they were told. It was life changing for all of them including myself because I went to visit her and I planned on staying for 5 days while her one housemate who normally never went back home to visit, decided to do it during their senior year so my sister was the only person who stayed. She invited me and her boyfriend but he knew the craziness that happened at that place unlike myself because she knew damn well I would’ve kept my city a$$ out of the dark backwoods where this place was located and boy did it deliver. I stayed about 10 hours before grabbing my stuff and driving close to 7 hours to get home. You know it had a bad effect on me because I normally wouldn’t drive at night due to the time of year and location because of a bad accident that I was in (as a passenger) due to deer. Mating season had just started along with hunting season so the highways can be dangerous due to deer especially at night so you know I was scared to death if I chose to drive all night long in western Pa back to my place in NJ. There are quite a few places all throughout the NE of the US that you could hit and it’d be worth it!❤❤
