Hollywood has much more influence in America than the UK... Americans will usually refer to a movie when discussing history whereas Brits refer to actual history.

She writes down what she is going to say, or at least thats what I heard somewhere. Also I wouldn't know how focused US is on public speaking but in the UK its definitely not a big thing, I recently tried to find a course specifically to help me in public speaking and couldn't find anything. Public speaking seems to be something you pick up in School or Jobs but theres nothing that forces you into it really, for example we don't need to do any type of speech that you often see americans do when they graduate.

Almost correct. Any organized religion is a cult while not all cults are religious. To put it differently, one person believing in Alth'uasl'issha being the creator is not a cult. But lots of people believing that is a cult. And if that cult/religion start dictating what people should or shouldn't do based solely on what they think is the thing that their god wants, up to and including people that aren't a part of that religion/cult, it becomes a dangerous religion. Even if that religion started out all loving and caring... as soon as it says do this or else... it's a dangerous cult/religion. No matter what they call themselves. Just look at many an Islamic country where the religions dictate all kinds of things which serves no purpose that to subdue people. Or look at how the religious cults in the USA have propelled a lousy business man, con man, convicted felon, sexual predator wannabe dictator to become POTUS.

@@PDVism Brit' here! So true though you should have included Christianity and Judaism which have been and are still, the cause of so many unwanted deaths and conflicts ! Think how Christians/Jews backed, (or did nothing, amounting to the same thing), let's say just a few Hitler/Mussolini/ Netanyahu the latter, - - where are the Jewish leaders calling for his removal from office strangely quiet, - - because God is on their side which with the Abrahamic cults Christian, Jewish, and Muslim is the same god. NO, ALL religions are cults. Cults are defined as the following... "a system of religious veneration and devotion directed towards a particular figure or object." Straight from the Oxford dictionary. As religions such as Christianity and Islam have central figures they worship or pay respects to including Jesus, Mohammed, God and Allah. They also place huge emphasis and importance of cult doctrine such as the Bible, Torah or Quran. Saying they aren't cults is an appeal to popularity. Just because 2 billion fools believe in what have become ACCEPTED cults, does not mean they are no longer cults. Back in the beginning of these religions, they were acknowledged as cults but when millions start taking it seriously, it suddenly becomes a problem to shun it for safety reasons.

English person here! First off she is not English she is an American who has lived in UK for a long time! She often states she might be wrong or that something is seen from her personal perspective and her own experiences! From what you say are you in a cult ?
