In 2008 Björn Gustafsson was co-hosting Melodifestivalen (Sweden's selection show for Eurovision). There sang a song for the "love of his life", Carina Berg, which happened to be the hosts wife, which was a surprise to the audience (and perhaps even to her) "Björn Gustafsson - Carina Berg | Melodifestivalen 2008 | SVT" (unfortunately it's not translated, so it might not be any point of reacting to it. Basically it's kinda awkward and funny rhymes, which ends up with him saying that she should break up with her husband. This year Carina Berg was the host of Melodifestivalen, and Björn Gustafsson pretended to still be in love with her. A really long running joke...So he hired famous songwriters (Johan Carlsson, Rami Yacou, Charlie Puth) and put together a boyband with a lot of Swedish wellknown singers and actors. They pretend it's an entry, but it's actually an parody, an interval act: "MELLANAKT: Björnzone - Still The One" (start watching at 2:37, there is alot of talk before the song starts) You could also check out Sweden's entry to Eurovision this year, if you like: "Marcus & Martinus - Unforgettable | Sweden 🇸🇪 | Official Music Video | Eurovision 2024"

Björn Gustafsson had a small part in the short film Kung Fury together with another Swedish comedian named Magnus Betner where they play nazis talking about their moustaches. It's called arischen moustache on KZbin.

As far as innermost national longings go, that of Sweden is perhaps being drunk all day. Considering how well functioning our society is, I think we deserve things like midsommar once every year.
