I understand the numbers. This is their reunion tour concert. Btw, as I’ve been scrolling through your catalog, it appears that live performances and love of musicianship are more your forte. So along those lines may I humbly suggest checking out a band called Nightwish and request you react to their 2013 Waken festival performance of their song “Ghost Love Score” I promise you will not be disappointed 🤘🏻💥🔥🙏🏻

Here is one you should check out. It's Ozzy after he "left" Black Sabbath. The look on Ozzy's face at the end of the song always gets me 😂 OZZY OSBOURNE - "Mr. Crowley" 1981 (Live Video)" kzbin.info/www/bejne/fWSvp5uae6qCp9U

Coach, again I'm late to the party you mentioned Ozzy, Tony and Bill, but Geezer was pounding the bass in the background like a man possessed. It's also one of my top ten Sabbath tracks. There is a video of them in a studio at the end, of The End tour video, unfortunately without Bill. I was fortunate to see their gig in Manchester (UK 2019) on this tour it rocked.

I imagine you would enjoy the whole debut album. Not the most popular but it’s very good and essentially the birth of metal music.

Tony Iommi is the best guitar player around. To have the success that he's had , with prosthetic fingertips It's gotta be rough.

It's amazing how Black Sabbath always seems to talk about love, happiness and survival. Their songs are always talking from a different prospective. They speak of awareness from the inside out. They speak of the dark side, not to invite you in, but to fear it, and the consequences thereof. Take for instance the song Hand of Doom ...The song was conceived after the band had observed a growing number of US soldiers arriving in England from the Vietnam War in the late 1960s with severe drug addictions. The song paints an unflattering picture of hard drug use for the purpose of self-medication. The song shows how it (heroin) takes its toll through different stages and the consequences of his addiction if he doesn't change. Check it out.

Sabbath were from Birmingham, a city that guitarist Tony Iommi described as the kind of place where you ended up either working in a factory, or joining a gang. Fortunately, music provided an opportunity for them. Another great reaction, folks!

The Wizard was always one of my favourite Sabbath-songs. Other songs I would recommend is ofc Iron Man, Sabbath Bloody Sabbath and Black Sabbath (same as the band-name). Btw, some other cool stuff to check out is: Voiceplay (a-capella group) Unleash the Archers (power metal)

Bill Ward is one of the most underrated drummers ever. And Ozzy was the perfect fit for for Sabbath with his bluesy and unique voice. And he sure does a great harmonica workout. That said. They have tons of good stuff. Their first six records doesn't have a bad track. Some recommendations from me though are "A National Acrobat", "Supernaut" and "Into the Void".

Bill Ward is just a total beast on the drums. He has never failed to impress Coach. Thanks for the suggestions!

Well, that was surprising. I've never been a big fan of Black Sabbath, but I liked that! Like you, I would never have associated a harmonica with any kind of rock, let alone Ozzie! I couldn't make out all the lyrics, but thankfully the echoes of high school French helped me work out from the subtitles what I didn't catch. I know you love live performances for the energy of the performance, as I usually do, but there are some songs that lose a lot of their power when adapted for the live stage. I have been thinking. You loved the Montreal performance of Queen's 'Somebody to Love', as did we all, but I think it would be a good idea for you to also react to the 'official' studio video. Apparently, Freddie wasn't keen on performing this song live, as it lost so much of his original 'vision' in the process... I would be fascinated to discover which you prefer.... 🤔

That's a hard one not to like. We'll keep that in mind what you said about the studio version. It would be fun to compare. Good to "see" you again!
