Came back to add a couple of BP-related items you may have missed, plus you never have to twist my arm to watch this clip. If I could go back in time, I'd find a way to be on the front row to see this. Can you imagine how this looked up close from the audience? No wonder these early performances knocked people out... Da nus... If Lisa's mother isn't famous enough already, she was just awarded "Best Mother in the Nation" honors in Thailand. Toldja one of these days there's going to be a statue to her. And for the nervous Blinks, Lisa did a long interview for her Elle cover and she flatly stated Blackpink would continue, saying the group was their life. Since they've all gone in different directions musically for their solos, it's going to be interesting if they go in a completely new direction and/or attempt to blend all their styles. You have my sympathies. Lived for a decade in Oklahoma and even used to roof in triple digits. I hatehatehate heat. Cold you can always bundle up against, heat you're just screwed even in cut-offs and tee shirts. Hell on animals too. Oh, almost forgot. A reactor on another channel said I should check out a new rookie group called "Young Posse." They've only been out three months so they don't have a lot yet, but I think they show a lot of promise. Yea! I think this is the first live set I saw of them and it blew me away. It's crazy to think they'd just debuted a few weeks earlier. Their swag and confidence was on full display along with each girl's vocal prowess (and they mixed everything right - a lot of live performances go astray from a bad or muddy mix) so you could tell this was a group with full throttle talent from the git-go, and nothing's changed my mind since then. It's just insane the amount of talent Korea has and is producing. K/DA "More"? Please? Pretty Please with Akali's Bugatti on it?

They have the cleanest production you'll ever hear, the song is a banger (Soyeon is just nuts), and they really show what you can do when you can meld a directed imagination to it. Even if you don't know anything about them, you know who they are by the end of the song from the song and the visuals. They really are mini-masterpieces, along with adding a few more chunks of WTF?? to Soyeon's completely bonkers discography. That woman has one unique mind...

I recommend that you react to any song on the Tokyo Dome DVD. It is one of the best performances of Blackpink and the video quality is excellent. There are many separate songs from that performance and several videos from the full DVD.

They never changed outfits, what you see in this video is what was shown on TV. The whistle performance with the white outfits was pre-recorded, look carefully there is no audience, also if you freeze the original video at 3:50 you can see they are already wearing the playing with fire costumes as they leave the stage. In the live performance they wore the same costume for both whistle and playing with fire and you can see the audience.

This was a great performance, and it includes the original choreo, which they inexplicably changed at some point - removing, what I've always thought was a great (and funny) detail. Watch closely at 13:00 - just after that really, but 13 mins should be a good timestamp - Rosé smacks Lisa right before she screams. It always cracks me up, I don't know why they stopped doing it.

looking at the old videos makes me almost sad, i was at 2 of their concerts and looking back you couldnt say they lost the talent, since they have so much but they lost their spark, the energy they had to perform to their audience.. looking at the 2022 concerts, its not even close its sad that this their last tour and they werent doing their best.. i love the girls so much but looking at their old videos feels bittersweet, before they came to the west..
