I'm so glad to be back with the rest of you all. I was pretty miffed that Bardock lost, but I was really happy Gioker was slated for next time. Though if Renren loses this one, Imma blow every gasket in my body.

@@rayking5399 There's a *_LOT_* of debate over how Joker can counter GER, his ability to bypass certain forms of reality-warping being one in his favor. Probably. I guess we'll see in a few weeks.

The fight animation and Track for the fight is awesome. I know some don't like the Calculation and the result but hey, this is their 1st eps return so wouldn't complain much, especially after see what we got next after this.

Omni Man vs Bardock started off the Independent era of Death Battle strong. It’s now in my top 10 along with Omni Man vs Homelander.

Next time is the son of God (Dio) vs the Joker who wields Satan(ael.) It could go either way, but I’m hoping for Giorno and expecting Joker to win. Giorno has Gold Experience and GERequiem (a stand that can create life, empower it, create new body parts to ‘heal,’ supercharge others and make them have an out of body experience, force evolve living things to make them have an immunity to stuff like viruses, the living things can redirect all damage to the user instantly, has Stand Stats above all Stands, and GER has the passive ability that can reduce all actions and will to zero, which nullifies the effect from the cause and that includes death itself as he put the main villain in the same death loop thing as Darkseid did to Thanos.) Giorno himself is also incredibly smart and his will is so strong that he will hurt himself to create an opportunity to beat the villains. Another thing about GER is that it fought King Crimson, which used fate to his advantage, but GER nullified fate from killing Giorno (GER is outside time and space and is automatic, so it can fight without Giorno being conscious.) This persists to Part 6, as he wasn’t fated to go like the other sons of Dio.

Hype for Joker VS Giorno aside (not that I’m invested in either franchise at all), honestly it’s about time they did another Persona Death Battle, with how many Persona Commission Tracks that Brandon and Therewolf have made, it seems almost criminal that they have only had one Persona character (that being Mitsuru Kirijo way back in Season 6) on the show so far. And of course Giorno Giovanna marks the 4th Jojo character after Jotaro, Dio and Jonathan. Speaking of Commission Tracks, this is the 6th confirmed Commission matchup to be coming to Death Battle for this new era (A Fool’s Requiem), and yet again it’s one made by Brandon Yates. Like I get it, Brandon started making Commission Tracks long before Therewolf started, so Brandon has way more matchups to work with, but… come on guys, show some love for Therewolf too, cause the only episode we have so far that came from a Therewolf Media Commission Track was Gojo VS Makima (Curse Control), meanwhile Brandon Yates has had Titanic Shadows, A Flash of Darkness, 13th Halloween, Vengeful Berserkers, Deciphering Discord, Deceptive Tyrants, Entropy Now Descends, and is going to have Hard-Boiled Fury, Wrath of the Gods, Masters of Monsters, Will of the Drill, Remnants of the Soul, and now A Fool’s Requiem.

Only advantages I see in Giorno's favor are attack speed (if he scales to Silver Chariot's sword arm like Jotaro and Dio did) and that Requiem rewind power (being a constant auto-life for himself). (Even the supposed willpower depletion power won't work on a Persona user, since the base nature of a Persona is to shield and anchor its bearer's willpower, even against superior forces like Yaldabaoth and Salmael.)

Jojoveller (the JoJo guidebook by Araki) puts GER as the strongest stand to date and the Stand Stats are Null/None, which are above quantifiable Stand Stats (Made in Heaven has Infinite for Speed and not A or Null/None, which means Null/None is above that, as put by JoJoveller.) This means GER scales above all Stands with feats done with quantifiable Stand Stats and that includes SCR swapping souls in our world from ‘something else,’ which is implied that SCR is swapping souls with another world’s beings, which isn’t that weird when D4C can swap from other universes. I don’t think you understand GER’s passive ability. GER doesn’t have a rewind power like Mandom in Part 7, but instead nullifies the effect from the cause (this is the opposite of KC erasing the cause from the effect.) It turns everything to 0, meaning anything that would affect Giorno/GER would be nullified from ever happening and GER is able to move outside of time and space, even when Giorno didn’t know what GER was doing. KC followed fate and fate is a big theme for JoJo, yet GER nullified fate and pushed through (KC won according to fate, but GER nullified it) and this persists in Part 6, which is why Giorno isn’t summoned like the other sons of Dio as he escaped fate. In the fighting game, you can have GER and Made in Heaven interact (GER nullifies MiH’s speeding up around it and Giorno, allowing him to move normally like Pucci.) On top of this, GER keeps the life powers of GE, so GER can create a damage reflecting living thing(s) to reflect whatever back at Joker, including Almighty and Instant Death and control the battlefield easier. I still think Joker is likely to win in other ways, but just wanted to clear that up because GER and KC are often misunderstood.

And the saiyan losing streak continues but it doesn't look good for the future, considering the team doesn't like gohan vs invincible and how the veredict for gohan vs ultraman zero is shifting against gohan with new research coming out.
