Dimash on his birthday gave us a beautiful song OMIR. I had to take my time to process it, as the first impact was shocking. The first time I tried reading English subtitles, but the mix of image and sound overwhelmed me, even though I didn't need to read to feel Dimash's soul surging through his intense and exquisite deep voice. A prayer to life, as I have seen and understood it, with a deep and sincere thanks to all that I have experienced and achieved so far, but also with a plea not to lose your way, to choose correctly, to make the right choices, chess there appears as a figurative decision-making process in life, where every step we take leads us to a position of advantage or not, Dimash is a chess player and in this game he is managing the pieces of his life... with l uncertainty of the future. A big concern to reach his goal and not disappoint at the same time, I think he is in a phase of reflection and many changes, but I'm sure he will be smart enough to win this match. The song is wonderful and his whispered baritone voice always seems like a caress, there is a mixture of pain and love but also of strength towards the end to take the journey. The lyrics are deep and show his feelings and the complex music at one point has many interesting color nuances, it seems like a spiral of life and it was like that that I didn't need that long to go down the rabbit hole again and I found myself listening to it on a loop over and over again, that's its magic too.. 🤗 😊 I don't know how it does it, but I always end up trapped in its staff. 🎼💝🥰

I agree. Dimash is always appreciative of all the appreciation, and he's worked very hard to get to where he is so far, but all this adulation can also be a weight and a burden. Not only from his hundreds of millions of fans worldwide, but also being such a prominent representative of his country, and as well, his own very high expectations of himself. Despite all the love- fame can be a very lonely place. I'm hoping he DOES give himself permission to mess up sometimes! To make mistakes! Just like anybody else. 😆😉

I find this song a bit too intimate. I had to listen for at least 10 times before I could break out of the tears created by the powerful emotive qualities of his voice to be able to follow the lyrics. It is very beautiful but I will not be listening to this regularly. It must be very nice to be in love with life. 🥰🇨🇦
