It's 6 octaves, and he doesn't use any artificial props. He was born with perfect pitch, and his parents (both of whom are operatic singers), put him in school (with a stress on music) when he was 5. He practices every day for several hours. He also is constantly in preparation for the next concert. (There's going to be one in New York in December.) Singing is what he WANTS to do. He said if you opened his brain, you would find music; and if you opened his heart, you would find music. As a toddler, his favorite possession was a bag of old cassettes, and he had to have it with him at all times. He's an unspoiled, basically happy person, and he does many things to help those less fortunate...particularly, when he meets a young person who wants to be a singer, he helps him or her get prepared, and helps with contacts for that occupation. His first album went double platinum in less than one minute. He's from Kazakhstan, formerly under the control of Russia (but they won their independence, 25 years ago.) His large extended family are largely focused on music, and are very loving and supportive. Sometimes you'll see some of them on or around the stage when he's singing. Also, you often will see a shot of his father, looking very proud, in the audience during a performance. Dimash is 25 years old, and he stands a surprising 6'3" tall. (Maybe he has extra lungs stored in those long legs.) I love everything about him, as you will find is typical of many people who just can't get enough of his angelic singing. He seems beautiful and pretty much PERFECT to most of his fans, including myself.

Dimash has a 6 octave range. His lowest note is G2 right upto a D8. There is nobody today who has this incredible range. He started having regular vocal training from the age of five. His voice is so rare and unique. When you hear it, you are completely stunned for words. I call this effect on people. You've been Dimmashed. Lol. It is not naturally possible for a singer with a high voice to then be able to sing clearly in the low register around G2. Dimash is 6'3 tall and slim. I find it hard to believe a voice so powerful can come out of a slim frame. He can play many instruments and he can compose music also. One of his songs " unforgettable day" was written by him with his range in mind. And the lyrics were taken from a poem his father wrote. In this song, Dimash hits the insane D8 note. The loudest D register note I've ever heard. Both his parents are sings. His mother is a soprano.

grace sacca recently I listened to opera 2 I haven't expected much & I'm not even really interested in opera but damn I was so shook while watching his performance that I watched it 4773763 times & was so amazed by him that I even posted videos on my insta story lmao 😂 then I was watching other performances AND HE IS SO SO AMAZING. I remember the weekend that I drifted on to his performance of Opera 2. I had NO clue who he was, where he lives and like so many other people like you and me, we are left speechless! We experienced that first time of meeting him here on KZbin and how we "reacted" to him, his gifts and talents that are so far above our comprehension that we have no way to describe it all or any part thereof. Zack, please know that we are not required to analyze this young man and what he has given us... Many people try to make sense of his voice he is one of a kind. There is no one like him in the world. You will go crazy when you listen to the other songs he sings. It's hard to describe dimash he's is so loved around the world. By the way that song he sang was in French. He's at a concert in China for a contest but he sings many different languages and you have to figure out which one is he singing next he sings Spanish Russian Chinese Italian French and so much more. He also play many instruments piano Qatar drums and he plays an instrument that looks like a Qatar but it's not cold that. He feels every song he sings It's hard for him to get out of the emotion when he singing to relate to the public you will see it in some of his videos. Some people think he's from outer space LOL but I know he is a young man Dad we discovered and now he is the biggest thing that ever happened. He's so humble and beautiful. You will never meet a Gentiles kind thoughtful person in your life. He gave up $1000000 so that small kids could win it. To him it is not about the money. How I wish I was young again and be there with him. I have not listened to anybody else since I met him. Tell your friends about him. His country is so proud and Russia and China finally realize they have a gem on their hands. He's well loved by the people and they are so lucky to have him we would treat him like a prince. His mother and father or so are in the music business his mother it's an opera singer and his father deals with music and sings. He also has a small brother and an 18 year old sister. Dimash is 25 years old now, but I saw his videos when he was 23. If you get a chance to look at all his videos you will be hooked he grabs you to your soul and he doesn't let go. The heavens are smiling on him. You will hear many different people talk about him and he is coming back to America to sing again. He was on world's best you can look that up that's when he gave up the money. And RuPaul got mad at him and insulted him and everyone around the world saw this and they did not understand dimash. That is his way and his country does the same thing. He was also invited there he didn't have to do anything for us. I heard when he got there everyone was so quiet you can hear a pin drop. He did something to everyone when he walked in you can feel it in the air. People try to describe him something that he is and the Alien

Hi Zack! I love your reaction! After this performance Dimash became overnight sensation and this is Episode 1 show called I am a Singer (China) 2017. Only well known professional Chinese singers participates show and every year they invites 1-2 International singers. Sort of black horse:). There were 14 Episodes. He took a second place. I suggest to do one by one reaction in order of appearance. This way you would appreciate more these show and his talent and how he changed during those 3 months. He was offered placement in several opera houses, but he wanted to explore a wider variety of music. He recently completed his music studies at the university level, but will go on from there, studying composition and other aspects of music.
