It's real don't like slash hate thing! It's not just because I'm a Denver fan, I never wanted him, I saw the end of Seattle and I saw what he really is without a legendary Defense! Pitt is probably the best spot for him given your great D! I just can't change my mind on him and I can't change that I feel he will be the reason they lose in the wild card round... hope that helps but totally understand the New York teams aspect to it!

As a Viking fan I would say it's good that you are a deep team, and may be very important to get the first seed to get one less gm in playoffs, and some rest....it sucks when teams lose key components to injuries( esp to a team who has had many a lean year)

Falcons fan. I agree. I wanted Penix in the second half yesterday actually. The play calling on 3rd and one was suspect considering that Bichon seemed to be getting at least three yards every time you gave it to him and all the sudden you want to run jet sweeps with wide receivers on third one. That doesn't make sense to me. But also cousins just has nothing left in his arm. I would love to be wrong and next year he goes somewhere else and has a great season. But I'm ready to move on because I think Michael Penix has something special and we might as well try to make the playoffs with him rather than watch them slip away without

Fangio is brilliant. Tbh the defense came to life before the bye the saints. Fangio has two rookies in the secondary and they are ballin out. This defense just bullies opposing offenses. Today’s game changed when eagles punted on the one and the defense did a 3 n 0. Offense came out and did their thing.

I see people constantly complaining about Colin not giving their team 'credit' only talking about the 'other' team. If you watch Herd long enough you understand that unless your team has a superstar QB he will never speak glowingly about your squad. Colin isn't a "football" guy. He very much sees the league through the eyes of a fantasy fb player or an NBA fan. Which is ironic because he's constantly shitting on the NBA saying the NFL needs to not run its league like the NBA being too catering to superstars. The man himself is single handedly trying to turn the NFL into the NBA by giving 100% of his coverage to the superstar QB. Is what it is. Point being, unless your team has a top 7 QB he's just never going to give your team much 'hype'... if your team is defensive oriented and has to find other ways to win you're better off going to get your kicks through another channel. Herd has a blueprint and it revolves around the star QB. Period.

6:20 you guys like many others are exaggerating the alleged demise of Justin Tucker a bit. He's not a 50/50 kicker now. His probably is almost all from 50+ yards. Tucker has not missed a FG inside of 40 yards since 2020. He is 5 of 7 from 40-49 yards this year and 3 of 7 from 50+ (before today). That is where his current slump is from. Perhaps its time that the Ravens start going for it on 4th down a bit more when the alternative is a 50 yard FG?

Agree, they did vs det in the game they lead till last play of the game... Key is they now have TJ back who they didn't have or cashman ( both gms Vikings lost) but they need to be better in playoffs...unfortunately for Det( deep team) but having a slew of defensive line injuries Det has GB, Pit next 2 gms tough, but like Min they just find way to win. But they lose 1 of those gms, Min beats Atl, Chi -win both those gms they are tied for division lead with week 18 rematch in Det....still very strong the winner of NFC North will be 1 seed( sorry Eagles, unless Min loses one gm or Det 2 - eagles win out) Long story but you give Min that1st round playoff bye. Seta them up well with home field adv....probably means Phi and Det meet in 2nd rd Still a lot of football to be played

As a Lions fan, I listened with great interest during the Eberflus segment. Listening to both of you, I couldn't help but think of the Detroit Lions ownership prior to Sheila Ford Hamp. You had William Clay Ford, grandson of Henry, who owned the team since 1963. Though he loved the Lions, he had no clue as to what he was doing. His missteps are too painful to recount here. When he died, enter his widow, Martha Firestone Ford, a woman around 90. A nice lady but also clearly out of her element. She was close to Virginia McCaskey, who is now 101 years old. Both are the epitome of the hands-off, uninvolved owner. Things changed for the Lions when Martha turned ownership over to her daughter, Shiela Ford Hamp. Sheila is 70 but very active. She was a competitive tennis player at Yale so she knows what higher level athletics require because she did it herself. She also knew what she didn't know, and brought in Chris Spielman for the GM and coach search. She is very sweet in interviews, but don't kid yourself. She is highly competitive and is very involved in the Lions front office. However, she is not a meddler like Jerry Jones. Sheila is the tip of the spear when it comes to the change agents in Detroit. Ownership in Chicago is uninvolved, and when you foster an environment of petty cheapness, you convey that winning is not a mandate. Sheila has supplied Brad Holmes and Dan Campbell with complete freedom in the football operations. Top flight coaches and GM candidates see a lot on how they're treated. Flying coach? You don't get a second chance to make a first impression. I bet the Bears remain mediocre until someone in the McCaskey family runs the team like Shiela Hamp runs the Lions. As for Ryan Day, his clock is running. Buckeye nation lives and breathes for the Michigan game.

I always thought that once Tee Higgins had a good rookie year and Joe Burrow tore his knee, the Bengals needed to draft Penei Sewell. Instead they went for Jamarr Chase. They caught lightning in a bottle and almost won the super bowl. However, in the long run, it was obvious that Mike Brown would not pay both receivers and they still don't have a francise left tackle. Penei Sewell is in a different universe than Orlando Brown Jr.
