i was waiting for your reaction since the cb was announced!! thank you for uploading reactions to all the songs❤ even though theres not many they're all SO good. about mia's hair, it was blown a bit out of proportion when people said she hated it. the thing she emphasized the most was that she was upset because she was worried about if we would like it. when she saw all the support she was relieved! on fancafe she even told me one of the things she was looking forward to about the comeback was her hair. she also calls herself the most handsome person in yuehua(she spilled)

First of all the delay of the M/V makes me want to riot YUEHUA & STONE MUSIC like how are they sabotaging the girls that hasn't made a comeback for almost two years like it making stressed out. Anyways, as always EVERGLOW cameback stronger than ever like the song slaps so hard that the title SLAY is what the song is giving. Like whenever they cameback they always outdo there last comeback. Also the line distribution here is not worst compared to there other songs so I'm not complaining. The only missing in the song is the iconic everglow chant intro but overall they literally slayeddddd. FOREVER LET'S SUPPORT THE GIRLS STREAM SLAYYYYY❤️💗

The brige and final chorus is iconic. The rest of the song is what we've seen before, which is sad because its all down to the production not giving the gals the MV they deserve and the ability to design the song so that their comeback shows off their unique vocal colours more(I feel like something like Taeyeon's INVU would kill with Everglow) . The gals are iconic, no hate to them. They're the only reason I like the song and MV beyond the final section

Everglow songs (ie. title tracks) in general are kinda anthem-y repetitive so I mostly just chalk that up to the game, but that bridge ruined my entire life. My beloveds. 🥹 (Also I’m looking at the full runtime of this at like 7:32 when you say you aren’t going to replay the entire song like: Press X to doubt.)

SLAY is a good song! Like you, I REALLY like the bridge. Those high notes…im very curious to see them do this song live. But yeah, otherwise a thoroughly ok song. I enjoy the instrumental, kinda feels like a throwback to harder dubsteppy beats. The lyrics feel like the weakest part of the song. A lot of very basic rhymes and an overuse of slang in my opinion. The whole “shining like diamonds and pearls” line sounds pretty lame to my ear. So…a solid 6/10 for me! Not bad, not amazing! Still like EVERGLOW a lot and I’m glad to see them back!
