Agreed. This is totally a cool kinda creepy vibe similar to Purple Kiss (whom I also love). It's a good bold choice for them.

Ppl complained about there not being any raps, but I think it’s so refreshing for a group and specifically Everglow that this song doesn’t. They’ve had a steady discography of heavy hitting songs with “noise” music background, I mean songs like LA DI DA, Adios, Bon Bon Chocolate, Dun Dun etc. They have softer songs like untouchable and promise, but unless ur a fan, ur not gonna know that side of them. Don’t get me wrong, I love these songs, I’m a fan of course I do. However this song is such a great choice to show them do something different but also similar enough to still have their signature sound. The “Ra Ri Ra” part sounds like “Goodbye Adios”. Overall I really love this song😊

Yes its different for them but i love the creepy vibe and they look amazing. This is very up my alley. So hypnotic that ra-ri-ra part 🔥for me.

This is SO different from what they did previously, and with my immense love to la di da, first and pirate, THIS?? AAAAA!!! My god I can't stop streaming the shit out of this one. The girls finally got what they fuggin deserve, and they creeped up my mind with this one like an actual zombie. They KILLED it and I'm in love. Am I starting to trust you again, Yuehua...?? PLEASE GIVE THEM A FUGGIN FULL-LENGTH STUDIO ALBUM ALREADY THAT'S ALL I ASK.

I thought they were done after Slay--I was worried for their formula and too many groups were doing it by then. I was nervous for this comeback but the teaser concepts gave me hope. I had a similar reaction to you--jaw dropped most of the time. I really enjoy the slow deliberate pacing, the haunting vocals, and the beautiful instrumentation. It's so different from what everyone else is doing--they have a killer rap line, there was no rap in this song. They've had sick beat drops, there were none here. They've done major vocal ad libs, there were none here. I think they made all the right creative decisions with this comeback. It's so standout.

It is clearly for some obsessed fans, rethink how they treat idols and their consequences. "Only speculation ok". In the presence of stage, Mia bleeds even in the music video. She is such an insane artist. It's different, more like.💔😥.

totally agree with you !! you can tell yuehua Korea actually had some effort in the m/v and concept for this comeback which obvi is just the bare minimum 😭 buts that's all the girls need cause 6/6 are so talented they can literally do the rest of the work, idk if you watch comeback stages or not but their stage for music core today 😮‍💨 just amazing!! the outfits they use you can tell the budget is THERE

Obsessed with this song. Wish E:U got a tiny bit more of a spotlight on the track solely because I love her, but this is such an interesting music direction and the live stage choreo is absolutely beautiful.

This is a killer comeback and the rest of the album is great. Everglow, Cignature, and CSR have started summer off with a bang, and WOO!AH! Has a mini album dropping in a couple of days. When Everglow and Woo!Ah! Went so long between comebacks, I was afraid we had another CLC Helicopter situation but I’m pleased to see both coming back again swiftly and actually seeming to invest in their artists again. I’m still cautious but feeling better about both groups who were so promising before disappearing to the void for so long.

I can't prove any of this but I think Yuehua remembered that EVERGLOW existed when Yena got into that trouble with Hate Rodrigo. After they shipped Yena to Japan so people would forget about that, they quickly dug up SLAY and was like "Right, EVERGLOW, come out of endless random tours and do a comeback now. You got five minutes. Oh, and Mia, you're a tomboy now." Point is, Yuehua does knee jerk reactions and does hail mary plays when all they have to do is rely on their talent. Yiren upset some people for not bowing: Banishment... Marketing's shocked-valued play gave Yena a cease and desist ticket to exile. Now this year it feels like both Yena and EVERGLOW are trying to regain the momentum they lost because of Yuehua's stupid decisions. Like I said, I can't prove any of this, this is just a theory from an outside looking in. As for ZOMBIE, I do think this what EVERGLOW needs to remembered again, but unfortunately I've seen next to no buzz about it. Maybe it was too long of a wait, SLAY dropped audience confidence, or the music scene is completely changed since they were battle aespa and ITZY for top girl-crush group, but I'm not seeing the hype you normally see when a group comes back. I honestly think that ZOMBIE is probably one of their best, and it's not just the newness of it. People should be paying attention to it. I just hope that the hype for bigger comebacks (like Nayeon) isn't going to make people completely forget that EVERGLOW had a comeback. On a more positive note.... who else wants to see Purple Kiss do a dance cover of EVERGLOW's ZOMBIE? I mean... the meme for that is just too good to pass up! (Now that I think about it... we need a Dosie/Onda dance off: stat!)

And also no shade to tempest but please make it make sense as to why a junior group has a light stick and their senior group everglow still doesn’t have one. Personally I think the companies sales would do great and I as well as other forever would be buying a light stick instantly. Am I right?

First listen I was taken aback by it, cuz it couldn't have sounded farther away from Everglow's typical sound. But after that initial jarring experience, the more I listen to it the better it gets
