Ronnie was completely respectful in doing this. There's a video on him presenting it to Jacoby asking for his blessing as to not insult him or the original. Jacoby was overwhelmed and moved by his reimagined version and blessed it wholeheartedly.

When you're talking about the original version, the guitar riff was created on a piano and then converted to guitar.

Honestly - you can't 'compare' the two versions. They are completely different songs - the meaning, the effective, the feeling it gives. If you go into it expecting the original you will never be able to hear it for what it really is. That why this is a REIMAGINED not a cover.
