Great reaction - your face perfectly reflects what everyone feels watching this song. By the way, two of these guys are actually trained opera singers - Ko Woo Rim (bass & totally my bias) & Cho Min Gyu (tenor). I don't understand French or Korean but I love how music transcends language barriers.

the original is a french singer Serge Lama wrote the lyrics (it's own story)and Alice Dona the music . very good pronunciation and powerful interpretation Forestella simply the best. A next song smooth criminal MJ another side of them more action. Thank for reacting.🥰😍🤩❤

Thanks for your wonderful reaction to Forestella! This is famous French song, Je suis malade. (I'm sick) The original singer is Serge Lama however Forestella sang this song as an homage for Lara Fabian's version. It notes in the lyrics with terms in feminine form (orpheline, heureuse). But Serge Lama posted his praises about this stage on his official SNS. (Twitter, IG, FB). Forestella released their Korean version of this song in their 3rd album: the Forestella. 눈물 속에 홀로 (Alone in tears) has lyrics in Korean. Even the words in the lyrics were changed alot from the original Je suis malade, you can feel the deep emotions and vibes of original in it if you try to listen. One of the members of Forestella (Bae DooHoon) contributed in writing some lyrics in Korean as well.

Your insights to the lyrics' meaning is profound. I never thought about that aspect. I get too immersed in the emotions of the music and the loss of a loved one to have thought further on the topic of the loss of taste of the whiskey and what that implies. FYI, Ko Woorim ( bass) and Cho Min Gyu ( tenor) are trained opera singers with post bachelaurate degrees ( I know that's spelled wrong but my keyboard didn't recognize it and I couldn't remember 😅) Thank you 💚🤗💚

La canción original es de Serge Lama y cuenta su propia historia. Compuso el tema después de que el amor de su vida a quien conoció cuando apenas llevaba un año casado y ella también estaba casada, lo dejó después de vivir ese amor en la clandestinidad durante un tiempo. Lara Fabián hizo una gran versión digna de una cantante de su nivel, aunque personalmente me quedo con la versión de Forestella. Serge Lama los felicitó por tan tremenda versión.

I was brought in a house with Opera, and family members who were Opera singers, surrounding me. THIS is such a well structured and delivered performance that even The Three Tenors could not have delivered it as well as Forestella. I'm a Ko WooRim fan. But for me, Bae Doo-Hoon just broke my heart. The nearest I've found to this was Cai Chengyu and Jia Ma doing "Grande Amore". So, young people who are delivering "Operatic" style music, with more emotion than the older Opera singers. This is genuinely heartbreaking, and awesome at the same time. (I'm a Rock and Heavy Metal fan, who sees Hua Chenyu as the greatest performer, now Freddie Mercury and David Bowie are no longer with us). Yet, other than Hua Chenyu's versions of "Dad I'm home", "I am what I am" and "Dear Friend", THIS is the one performance that always reduces me to tears.

@@j.f.3342 it doesn't work like that.. unfortunately. If he had won some specific concours for alter the military service he could keep working but he had not. And I think if he had won the concours, he wasn't to be participating in Phantom Singer 2 audition (which made him meet Forestella members and grouped.) It seems gonna be next summer his enlisting.
