Kang did a great a job here. Like Marcelito Pomoy or Dimash he doesn't need a duet partner to sing a male and female part. Kang uses PITTA as stage name when he performs as solo artist and he released his own album called "ID: PITTA". When I first saw his rendition of phantom of the opera it blew my mind. I like the craziness he added at the end. By the way, the background vocals are from other Forestella members. They support each other even when they perform solo. According to the video "Kang Hyung Ho note compilation" his lowest note he has sung so far was C2 and the highest C6. A four octave vocal range is quite imppressive.

He is a great singer. His vocal cords seem to have a switch attached to them. It's amazing that you can change your voice to whatever you want!! He also posted this song on his KZbin channel and sang it half an octave higher. And he covered Nightwish's Wishmaster, which was insanely amazing. All members of Forestella are excellent solo singers with distinct personalities. I think it would be nice to listen to more solo songs of each.

Before his debut as Forestella, he was a researcher who worked for a chemical company normally Can you believe it? When I turned 30, I challenged the Survival Audition Phantom Singer Season 2 to achieve my dream of becoming a singer, and when I won, Forestella was born~!! 🤩🤩 Now he is working hard as a member of Forestella, and he is a great singer who is also doing solo activities under the name of PITAA~!! 💕💕

Kang had definitely made a right move to switch career. But without dedicated ‘ lab employee’ , our life today wouldn’t be that good !

@@Eric-hr5cgI agree, he brings that analytical brain from his scientific research , to the Forestella vocal arrangements and sounds, whereas the other 3 admit to a more emotional approach. MinGyu has always said he appreciates HyungHo’s scientific approach as a valuable asset. The two approaches are the perfect marriage. Lab work requires meticulous data collection and recording and interpreting and application , and that is exactly the discipline that he applies to his job as their vocal arranger and producer. Without that experience, perhaps things might have turned out differently. He is philosophical these days about the length of time it took for him to have a music career, and used to jokingly blame his mum for not putting him in an arts school as his elementary teacher had recommended. I believe that it was the best thing for him to have studied chemical engineering instead and that it had forced him to self-train musically and spent that time honing his skills as a frontman and guitarist for PITTAband in the music wilderness followed by the workband , before that timely audition in 2017. He would not have the unique vocal instrument that he has today if he had been taught in a formal training environment. He discovered when taking voice lessons in the early days of Forestella that his voice dropped a few octaves , so he abandoned that and did his own thing. He is currently in 2024 doing vocal clinics as is each member of the trio while WOORIM’S away for vocal health and longevity.
