Considering how good he’s been in his first three years as a dodger combined with what he did last night he has officially been worth every penny of the 162 million. Even if he completely loses his ability to play baseball after this season

Shows how good both squads are. Stanton is arguably their less threatening part of their big 3 and Freedie is arguably ours, and yet this first game they were the ones to put on a show. If you are the Dodgers or Yankees, who the heck do you pitch to lol

@@edgardls95I don't think so. And I say that as a dodgers fan. The highest sold baseballs are tied to someone legendary. I like Freeman but the only current players that will be able to command that price in the future is Judge and Ohtani. Look at the most expensive sold list. It's tied to legit legends. Aaron, Ruth and the home run era McGwire and Bonds. The worth of these aren't tied to big team moments as it is to individual records. As much as Dodger fans will remember this moment forever, it will be a footnote in non Dodgers fans minds. Ohtani 50/50 will be worth more. If Judge gets HR record it will be worth the most.

Aaron Boone should be named co-MVP of the game. He pulled Cole early and choosing Cortes to save the game was a genius move.
@andrewliu111
@andrewliu111 2 ай бұрын
Oh stop it, I am a dodgers fan. But I see nothing wrong with Boone’s decision. First of all, like your Yankees, dodgers has great hitting. It is never a good idea to let the same group of hitters familiarize your pitching style. Secondly, Ohtani is a left hander. It makes perfect sense that Boone wants to use a lefty to face Ohtani, and he did get Ohtani out. Lastly, the pitch against a freeman is not a bad one. It is inside a corner, the same one that got Ohtani, it is just freeman hit it long enough. Please don’t be prisoner of the moment. This game is all about what dodgers did. Not Aaron Boone. If Dave Roberts is coaching the Yankees, Roberts would’ve done the same.
@George-f8h
@George-f8h 2 ай бұрын
@@andrewliu111 "But I see nothing wrong with Boone’s decision." You would choose Cortes, who hasn't pitched in a game in 4 months to close out against 3 MVPs in a World Series game when he has a better option? ...And you're claiming the other team's managerial decision doesn't affect the outcome of a game? I have nothing else to say. 🤣🤣🤣
@andrewliu111
@andrewliu111 2 ай бұрын
@@George-f8h You mean Hill? Stop it. Betts and Freeman have both hit from Hilk last year. Boone looked at tge past record and saw that Cortes is a better matchup. Cortes is fine. He has thrown two good pitches.He got Ohtani on the first one. Any normal hitters would have flied put on those pitches. Unfortunately for your Yankees; freeman is a MVP caliber. I see. You rather obliterate players on your team instead of giving praise to the opposing team. Most Yankees fans are like you, no wonder why people find the Yankees to be obnoxious.
