The best part in my opinion is his prayer to Mary in the middle. He says"give me sanctuary please", which in the movie, is what the gypsy said to him
@CyColt3 жыл бұрын
to which Mary basically said, "If you would not allow the innocent Sanctuary, why should I grant it to you?"
@janehrahan51163 жыл бұрын
Actually. She did. Despite his flaws she answered his prayer. (The person coming in to tell him the girl was gone). She removed the temptation. He then despite being given this undeserved blessing threw it away.

Hellfire is my forever favorite Jonathan Young cover and seeing the absolute joy on your face as you listened was so wholesome. I love the fact that you pointed out those piano arpeggios. The way they accentuate the mood and are so counter to the heaviness of the rest of the instrumental is everything. 🔥 Instant subscribe from me, Dave. 🤘🏼

I love Jonathan Young! This version of this song is really incredible and I do love it. It's so powerful! He did a more rock cover of Evermore, and also Eye to Eye (from a Goofy Movie) and they are great. You got lots of other good suggestions I saw, and what you said about metal music makes a lot of sense, because he did some metal Phantom of the Opera songs and they work SO WELL. I love them, some of my fav versions. Great reaction!!

@Furball8913 жыл бұрын
This is the video I found you from. I really enjoyed how you talked about what you liked about his style in detail. This is admittedly like... the 10th time at least that I watch this particular reaction video. I must admit that I'd rather see you do more of music reactions instead of more ERB, because in music you don't have to know certain facts beforehand, and you can just organically tell what you like or do not like in the song. Of course in this one there is the bonus of you knowing the original Disney piece, but the most I still got is how you enjoy the video. And on that note, I'd love to see you react to more stuff like this. Like, Jonathan Young has done so many covers with Caleb Hyles witch are so good. But also there are others. I'd put my wish on that you'd react to "I'll make a man out of you" (the Disney's Mulan song) By Dan Vasc. But I don't want to sound like I want to dictate what you do; if you enjoy ERB, you do you. I wish you all them good things in life, I enjoy your content.
