These guys are all so talented. They lean towards country but they can do any genre including R&B. Rob sang this with so much soul. They all can take the lead depending on whos voice is best for the song. Tim is one of the best bass singers out there & their beatboxer Adam can simulate any sound. Keep up your journey through Home Free. You will not find a bad song.

they sing more country songs because of Sing Off. before Sing Off they sang mainstream music, they tried 3 times to get on the Sing Off and made it in third attempt when they presented themselves , (actually producers of the Sing Off suggested that to them after hearing their audition songs that happened to be country), as country a capella group (source: interview with Tim Foust), actually

This is a great rendition! I LOVE IT!!! They sing this as good as BOYZ TO MEN. AND, I MEAN THAT! I wish TIM COULD have done more of the talking to the girl like the original, but still this is fantastic!!! I LOVE YOUR ENTHUSIASM. GREAT REACTION!!!

Rob has a great R & B voice doesn’t he?!! When they won the NBC show the Sing Off Shawn Stockman of Boyz II Men was a judge (the original singers of this song) and he loved them. I think HF wanted to do right by him. It’s really a great rendition. Good reaction Gabbsi. Try Mary Did You Know, Brothers in Arms, O Holy Night, Helplessly Hoping to hear more great harmonies.

This was a Boyz2Men song from the early 1990's...this is an AMAZING cover. Rob steals the show for sure....all those runs...holy moly....he's got some hidden R&B soul in there !!! Austin is as you saiod "rock star" ability. His teachers in college tried to get him to possibly try an operatic career...at the time he wanted to be a Broadway Star (which he easily could have been). Glad to see you cover this Gabbsi....if you are in the Christmas mood, Home Free does an awesome cover of Silent Night, from 2018 I believe...so so pretty

Rob has always had the most balanced and thus most agile voice in the group. They are all wonderful but too many people get caught up in the super high or super low magic and miss the solid holding it together middle.
