Right up until my husband of 46 years passed away at the age of 66, when I looked at him, I still saw the 16 year old boy I fell in love with, so this song resonates for me. Tim's voice is perfect for this song and the rest of the guys' voices sounded so beautiful. Adam's vocal percussion sounds so pretty, it's extraordinary. These 5 wonderful, talented guys were put on this Earth as a gift from the universe to spread joy, positivity, respect and kindness. That's what I believe. Thanks for the great reaction.

You may like another Randy Travis song called "Deeper than the Holler". The premise of the song is that he doesn't trust the cliche ways of describing how you love someone ("I've never seen the ocean...") so he spells it out in things he knows - it's deeper than the holler, taller than the pine tree, etc. He had a real gift for simple and sweet love songs.

I think these guys did a great cover of Randy Travis' song especially with Tim taking the lead. What I love about Home Free is how respectful they are of the original song without adding unnecessary things. No theatrics or bass drops. Just beautiful singing & harmonies with Adam adding his special touch. I thought it was cute when Tim sung about hair turning grey & he looked up at his own hair.

I just have to say that I really enjoy your reactions and your smile is infectious! I agree with you that a stable home life is best for kids. My wife and I provided a stable and faith based home life for our kids and all three grew up to be well balanced and successful. My wife and I just celebrated 40 years of marriage. My wife, Kerri, passed away on June 7th, and this song is the perfect analogy of our 25 year (23 married) relationship. I hope your love stays as strong for just as long if not longer, thank you so much for this reaction. Side note, Kerri loved Home Free and was listening to alot of their songs over and over for the last few months of her life in the hospital.

A lovely and happy song. Although I am not in a relationship at the moment and do not plan to have one anymore, I still love this lyrics and hope that many will have such a love. My first loves are my four children and my mother. Then my brothers and sisters. My partner passed away three and a half years ago. He is still in my heart, although the last few months have been very difficult for me to live with him because of his drink and mental problems. Again, well chosen which voice best suits this song, because it sounds great with Tim as the lead. Tim nailed it. And as always amazing harmonies, backgrounds, bass (Chance) and the incredible vocal percussion. The video is simple, yet good. That's it with Home Free. Put them somewhere, let them sing and that's enough. The voices and their appearance do the work

Tim sounded so good with this song. Adam with the beatboxing looking happy and Rob Austin and Chance smiling just makes you feel good. I met my husband when we both were 16. Married at 19 and had a great life. He passed at 63. Miss him tons but the great life we had with two boys and grandkids keeps me smiling.

Happy Anniversary! My parents were married for sixty years before my mother passed. One of their tricks to keeping their marriage fresh was taking separate vacations every year with friends from college. The women would go one place and the men another.

My hubby and I have been together a long time and we’ve been through births and deaths, sickness and health, good times and bad and we still love each other. It’s easy to love someone when you’re both young and beautiful and full of energy but it’s harder to love when you’re older, have an illness and your body breaks down. But that’s why I love him more today than yesterday as he loves me now when I’m older and gray. (Hint: he’s older and gray too!). That’s the beauty of growing old together. I love Tim's voice and I respect their choice to stick close to Randy Travis' original but I really miss Home Free's arrangements and resulting harmonies. Unless I miss my guess this choice was based on the fact that they have been extremely busy touring--yet they still choose to put out new content for us. Love them for that❣️🎼🥰🎶❤️
