I believe Jimin released a cheerful song to bring joy to ARMY. It is a refreshing change and a creative experiment, as opposed to releasing a sad song which could potentially bring more sadness, especially in his absence. This is just my personal thought.

I wish more people understood that a song not being their vibe or fave genre is a statement that speaks ONLY to the listener and has nothing to do with the quality of the song itself. If that were the case no reggae songs would be allowed to exist in the world simply because it's a genre I personally don't like. I don't see any value in attributing subjective characteristics such as childishness to something for being fun and light. Now... if we're having a reflective discussion about what it is that makes it so that some people can't let things that are simply happy and joyful exist with out feeling the need to take them down a peg, then let's go. I have a lot to say about fans and the gp believing they have ownership over artists and their choices because they bought an album or streamed a song, the toxic trait of being "cool", the need for your fave artists to "suffer" for their art, as well as the mindsets that lead to thinking fun, happiness, and joy aren't feelings that are legitimate and genuine and necessary for adults. People want more of FACE? I have GREAT news for you... you can listen to the whole album, on Spotify, whenever you want. My stance has always been, and will always be, I would rather my favorite artists have the passion and freedom to create new things that are interesting and important to them. The last thing I would want for any artist, let alone one I say I support, is to feel caged in by the expectations of their fans. They do not owe me music that is 100% tailored to my tastes, they owe themselves music that they love and that makes them happy they put in all the hard work it took to get where they are. All that to say... I really like SMGB, and I like PTD and Dynamite and Butter because I can accept that artistry is a spectrum and that happy pop music can have as much (if not more) emotional impact on the listener as any Grammy bait songs/albums, some of which are objectively not that great to actually listen to. At the end of the day if a songs not for you, then it's not for you. Listen (or ideally DON'T) and move on. It's 4 minute of your life, the time lost can easily be made up by taking a faster shower or 2.

I usually don't like cute songs, but it grew on me after a couple listened. It is referenced to The Truth Untold. Sometimes we just need a happy song and it's perfect for the summer. This song reminds me of The Beatles. Since FACE is a little darker, MUSE will be lighter. I am glad he doesn't release same kind of album like some people expected.

FYI, you had an anti in your chat: ‘Minn OO’. The song was inspired by The Beatles’ Sergeant Pepper Loneky Hearts Club Band! It’s not supposed to be complex - that’s not the intention. The song was pure joy and that’s it! Jimin HAS gone dark and sexier in his last album and this album is so him! It’s a total summer bop! Guess alot of people don't like changes ...either they scared of it or just downright love staying stagnant. Jimin is all for change and his album MUSE is about what inspired him to become a singer. He is experimenting and im sure he knows not everyone will come to the appreciating his music party. But does he care ..hell no. Jimin is cute and that you cannot fake. If you love music you look beyond the artist. Makes me think if it was another member singing this song would the song be a banger or is it because Jimin gets to be the happiness and love that he really is. Are u people heard of Pantomime? It's a musical performance which consists of art and techniques, typical jokes, comedy and based on fairy tales. Jimin just pantomimed those emotions with his new song. It isn't a common term for most of the people including Jino. Most of the people indulged in sexy pop music nowadays. Jimin's song artistically is very good and he already said he experiments with his new album. You can't review a song listening 1 time. The way hiphop dancers can't understand the beauty of modern contemporary dance, the same way this song isn't everyone's cup of tea and it's ok. It's a happy feel song. This is not a fan song. We had that with Closer Than This. Please remember this album is about Love, Jimin being in love and the inspiration for such. Remember, BTS for the most part to include Jimin plays chess, not checkers. This song uses the concept of pantomime to tell the story. It is a cheeky, campy video and song, but if you go beneath the surface, he is telling you about himself and who he loves. Suga, Taemin and Jimin kept talking about gender neutral and Jiimin showed that concept in his photo folio a couple of years back. Research what a pantomime is, how it is tied to the Beatles and British pop. Oh, there is so much in this video. Jimin is a creative genius.

It comes down to personal preference DJ Jino can critique however way he likes as long as he can take criticism himself, then I can respect that and agree to disagree I also tend to gravitate towards edgier, darker, moody, and complex music, but sometimes I do love simple, happy, and cheery music There are songs that DJ Jino absolutely loved and raved on that I thought was horribly bad and is completely a skip BUT I don’t say other people enjoying the music I hate is all fake either Maybe some people truly love this genre of music. It's certainly the opposite of Set Me Free PT2, which is actually my top three from chapter 2, but one thing I love about BTS is their versatility. I get a really happy jolly vibe with this song. It grows on you the more you listen to it. No worries, Jino, everyone has different preferences. I also prefer more "dark" and bangers while my BFF is definitely a flowery, happy PTD gal. 😅

Thanks for your honest reaction I’m guessing this was Jimin’s healing song for all those fans who couldn’t take “Set Me Free Pt 2”; they plastered soc media with very toxic reactions. He has fans who refuse to see him become an adult. My respects to Jimin’s tough choices as an artist 💜 I liked the song as what is: a bubbly pop Summer song, of which there are many competing for audiences right now, just like any other year Still give me another Jimin SMF Pt2 anytime😈💜

I mean musically SGMB isn’t like crazy and SMFPT2 level but there has been the quality music that was offered, the genre of the song fell in the category of happy, light and very dancy. Moreover the vocals in this songs weren’t that of too much range but jimin has always done an impeccable job of turning songs into such catchy melodies. It hits difference. Jimin has gifted this song, for Armys and we more than just happy with the kind of happy place this music is putting us in. SGMB is indeed a very catchy song. The drums go good! There wasn’t any technicalities and depth into the music that’s it, it served its purpose and we all are so happy!! Dino your reaction was justified. You have your opinion we respect that. What are you talking about? Most people in the chat think the mv is cute. You don't have to like every songs of your fav, and you certainly can't force others to like it. Kpop fans are weird to me because they stan someone they will pretend to like every songs.

Not my thing, but I can appreciate it. PTD honestly grew on me after a while, this might too who knows. Either way, I hope it does make others happy and Jimin should be proud anyway I think.

Shalom (hi) from Israel 🇮🇱 from the very beginning, it was cristal clear where it's going, so I never reached the end of your broadcast (no offence)... After "face" Jimin said not to worry, his next songs will be happy, which he delivered. It's a summer song, catchy and has a happy chill vibe. The MV was different, flowing and beautiful. Personally I prefer from Jimin masterpieces creations like "lie", "alone", "letter" and set me free 2", Jimin's voice is so unique and outstanding with his sensitive and heartwarming personality will continue doing exeptional job. I'm waiting to the release of his "muse" album, I'm also appreciate artists who experience various genre & music styles. Jimin will never disappoint me or any BTS army, or world wide music listeners. 💜🎼💜

@@friede. I don't believe he creates his channel to look like that. We had many nice and heartfelt moments during his live. My problem is with people in the chat that I see every release that send purple hearts, that I shared those moments with in this community, saying mean sh't about the song and Jimin. It's not something I expected and was disappointed.

Pls be informed, Jino channel is full of solo stan of JK, since Jino bias is Jhope and JK. 2. Previously, Jino always underrates Jimin among BTS's members. It is still fine, when comes subject to music, but sometimes Jino feeds Jimin's hater, which mostly are toxic solo stan of JK and V, about Jimin as person by his unneccessary words/gestures. Refers to this, the solo stan become really toxic. They dont hesitate to act as per you said, since they think they are good and get Jino's validation to do it. Which most makes me dissapointed in this channel is Jino never tries to stop them!

Some of my favorite albums have had tracks that I didn't like and wouldn't listen to. It's the nature of music. I love Jimin's voice and his overall persona, and his amazing dance talent. And, this song is not one that I would listen to by choice. It's like bubblegum music, which is just not my jam. Yes, I watched it a couple of times to support the numbers, but it is definitely like the "Permission To Dance" style which I never liked. Like Dynamite, too. I loved his "Set Me Free", and "Like Crazy" tracks from the first album. 💜
