"We need to be intentional in lifting children up"......👍🏽. Appreciate your message to be a child champion. Congrats again to Juju 🎉🥳.

Mummy I understand that and it's true. But the hardest thing Alfred went through was to leave st. lucia ( home) as young girl and that makes her successful. I believe if she was in st.lucia this will never happen. Meaning the Foundation in st.lucia is not there to be a child's champion.

Hi , I understand your point totally and the need to get the extension in terms of coaching etc to be successful. Many times, we can get the foundation set in one environment and then have to work in another, most times better resourced, to get to the next level. I am very much about recognizing children, supporting them, and giving them a voice. I know that the flames extinguished in the early years are very difficult to re-establish.Therefore the push to nurture at a young age so that we can celebrate later in all areas of life.

I am extremely pleased, Alfred, did this for St. Lucia, as it raises numerous questions and critical thinking. It has the potential to broaden the perspectives of St. Lucians and reshape their approaches to fostering children's success across various domains. I recall my own school days in st.lucia when I was passionate about sports; if I arrived just one minute late for class after a game, the teacher would beat me , instead of understanding and trying to enhance what I had like doing. Nevertheless, I'm grateful that Juju has taken this initiative for St. Lucia. Now every sector jumping on it like worms on poo poo 🫡

The coaching she got in Canada contributed to her success. I am also one who believe in if it is not broken, why fix it. I am a strong advocate to exposing our young athletes to the Jamaican track program.

What I remember from primary school was teachers at the Vide Boutielle Primary School was teachers like Miss Eugene and Mrs. Prudent calling us “mules and dogs.” Dressing up boys like girls and making them parade around the school to discipline them and putting clothes pegs on their lips if they were talking too much. I’m happy someone else had a better experience
