As an ex-auditor I can tell that here in Funland "gift limit is 50 euros", everything must be reported and You will be taken out of that case. I can still feel the tense of that video.

You will be taken off the case only if you actually take those handouts.

@@newera478 you're right. That 50 euros has been "some kind of rule" by the Finnish court.

Bribes haven't been common in Finland, some smaller family owned companies are known to push the limit what is needed for a business and what's not. The basic principle was, purchases still need to be inspection proof. This scetch is a parody which goes much further than reality. If company did single job where boat was needed, then the boat was bought. It just happened to be a model which is handy for fishing too.

Where have you lived😂😂 Bribing has happened always. Companies taking manufacturers and customers to expensive holidays to Lapland, holidays abroad etc. etc. Finnish bribing isn't so much cold cash given, but luxurious holidays etc. disguised as seminars etc. while in reality having fun and drinking.... One company paid trip to watch Barcelona football game for selected important contacts providing good contracts. So called "hyvä veli" network is decades long Finnish tradition of bribing. People just seldom call it as it is, because we Finnish want to feel so honest. So we don't even call bribing as it is.

@@DenH-yo4bp There's usually big difference between 'hyvä veli' system and real bribing. In many countries, you are expected to pay bribes or nothing happens and anyone can get what they want by paying the bribe. In Finnish traditions, at least in a level I have been aware, it's more like strengthening the bond outside work. There are no obligations and if business relationship has other problems, it'll be ended. Scratch my back and I scratch yours is bigger problem in politics. There it have some influence on decision making.

@@teropiispala2576 Fo you think, that it isn't bribing when people get weekend trips worth of thousands of euros or even tens of thousands euros. Bribing is inside Finnish society both in goverment and in business. Only lately there has been some tryouts to get rid of it, but a lot has to be done. It isn't coincodence that certain companies buy only from very selected partners. New laws concerning public sector have been good for sure, forcing to take offers from multiple companies.

Te olette Seppo? = You are blacksmith? 😂

For clarity, Seppo is a common male name while seppä means blacksmith.

:D What happened here is that I have marked the language of the video as Finnish. I made subtitles directly in English and Mert has used automatic translation in subtitles. So it translated from English to English and decided that Seppo = Seppä -> Blacksmith. If one chose Suomi from subtitles, it would be shown correctly.

Driving 46000 km in two weeks= instead of paying big wages (big taxes), they paid small wages (small taxes) and gave some (tax free?) money for the use of the employees personal car...
